Solving puzzles together. Learning new skills. A little bit of fighting. We were big fans of the first two "Trine" games. Until the creators missed the mark with the third game. But with "Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy," the mistakes of the past have been forgiven.
Packed to the brim with personality, atmosphere, and balls of steel, Trine 5 is prime puzzle-platformer action from start to finish, especially if you bring some friends along for the ride.

Very colourful and detailed graphics, like being in a fairy tale.
Very varied, well thought-out and never repetitive puzzles, definitely the best in the series.
The only note are the fights, a bit underwhelming in terms of variety and mechanics.
Apart from this, definitely the best chapter in the series.

More evidence that "professional" critic reviewers are an absolute joke. This game should not be getting just 7's. They're probably all too stupid to figure out the puzzles. Sure, Trine 5 doesn't do anything especially extraordinary, but it provides more of what makes the Trine series enjoyable and innovates with more interesting abilities to use. I only play solo and enjoy it, but I imagine it would also be great to play coop with another person or two.

We need more of "Trine". Its 5th episode is for sure the more attractive, fun and enjoyable one from the license.
For those looking for a fun and charming puzzle platformer to play, especially with friends, Trine 5 is the perfect choice. Each hero is distinct and lovable in their own ways, the story is fun and engaging, and the puzzles are intuitive and simple, if not lacking in creativity towards the end. In a series full of positively received games and support from players that have stuck with it for years, this is yet another great entry that's sure to leave players with a smile on their face.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is a welcome addition to the series. While it doesn’t add or change much when it comes to gameplay mechanics, it’s still enjoyable and challenging enough to be worth a look from anyone who likes an old-fashioned fairytale adventure with a twist.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is just as beautiful as the series ever was, and the same charm is present and correct, but it's definitely beginning to wear a little thin.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is another attempt to repeat the original without developing ideas. The game is literally stuck in outdated mechanics.
Gorgeous visuals, excellent optimization, charming characters, creative puzzles, humor (yes, the game finally has a full-fledged story, dialogues and cutscenes). Lovely game

Trine 5 started pretty well compared to T4 but devolved toward the end. The story is worse, the combat is worse and by the end, I started looking for ways to skip puzzles that were unclear and ran past enemies. Not a good sign. My next co-op run will be in T4, 5 is 2nd rate.

Buggy mess.
For something that has a 5 at the end and received little to no graphical improvements over the years this game is so packed full with issues it's astonishing.
Did they not have a QA team? Did even the devs skip testing? Did nobody give a **** about it?
The answer to all is YES.
Some entertaining puzzles. A silly childish story for the kids. But if you really want to play this game wait until it drops to under 10$ or you can wait until it drops to 5$ and pay what it's worth considering how little the company cared about releasing a good product even that price seems high.
