All games you ever liked mixed together into one huge colored gaming orgy. Even so, it is not all chaos but a catchy and fascinating game which makes you thrilled to the end. [Issue#200]

LittleBigPlanet 2 is a special game that entertains effectively, and does nothing less. Playing together with friends, and enjoying the unrestrained power of man's creativity is a sight to behold.

An amazing game that will ultimately only be limited by the imaginations of the people who play it. [Issue#201, p.86]

If you're looking for a platform game LBP2 is a great one, although not as good as Super Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns or even Super Meat Boy. But if you're looking for an extremely powerful set of tools to unleash your creativity, LittleBigPlanet 2 has no rival.

Littlebigplanet 2 is a triumph in user generated content that expands the original in ways previously thought to be impossible.

The sheer amount of content and improvements more than warrants the price tag and you would be crazy to pass up this delightful package.

Very rarely is a game's sequel not only a great improvement, but also a carrier of amazing additions that make it feel like a fresh new game. I can hardly contain my fanboy madness at the new gadgets, tools, tweaks and CONTROLLER MAPPING!! The ability to create games that are no longer stuck on the platformer genre, but open the world to everything from RPG's to FPS's. This game redefines the custom builder mechanism that is slowly becoming more popular. A king of creation, Little Big Planet 2 is truly limited to your capacity for creativity!! Expand

You don't need me to tell you what it's like because if you don't own it now, you probably never will. The sheer capacity for creativity is its main strength and while, at first, I thought that put too much reliance on the community and we'd be left with nothing but mediocrity and boredom the community is showing a lot of promise. The new additions to the level editors are all easy to use and effectively used as demonstrated by the myriad levels posted online everyday. The game may still be young but it is showing lots of promise and I am having a blast playing both the story levels and online with all kinds of people. This game, if nothing else, is a great way to spend time with friends and maybe even make a few from around the globe. A great game, hands down. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Little Big Planet it's by far the most brilliant plataformer in this gen. And Little Big Planet 2 only adds to the experience. Right from the start you have access to ALL LBP1 Levels, and that's 3 million +. You can buy it blindly - there's no way you'll lose your money. It's worthy any cent. Also, the Single-player campaign will give you some 4~5 hours of fun - or maybe more - but it's in the multiplayer that this game shines, allowing you to build and play other levels. And there's some very creative levels out there - one that I recommend is the Frozen Flame, am Action RPG made with LBP engine. Amazing!

Really, buy it. You'll not get disappointed.

In case you're wondering why I bought the second, I didn't, a friend did and I played to do him a favor. A huge favor it was and he will never be able to repay it.
