GIGA WRECKER ALT is a physics bases puzzler with a gorgeous design and challenging combat that’ll leave you begging for more just as much as it’ll make you grit your teeth every time you fail.
Giga Wrecker Alt. is a fun action platformer that represents a fresh direction for Game Freak outside of the Pokémon realm. The game lacks in combative and traversal actions for its protagonist and doesn’t have the tightest controls. But it satisfies in level design and the unique way in which Reika interacts with the environment to solve puzzles and push forward in her quest.

Game is great mix off puzzle and boss fight ... the unique hand drawn lookalike graphic are beautiful and is just hard enough to make you retry a couple time without being frustrating or too childish

Geliştiriciliğini, aynı zamanda Pokemon oyunlarının yaratıcısı olan Game Freak'in üstlendiği, yayıncılığını ise Rising Star Games'in yaptığı 2d, fizik temelli bulmaca, platform oyunu. Oyun bilgisayar için 2016 ağustos ayında çıktı. Diğer platformlar içinse 2019 nisan ayında Giga Wrecker Alt. adıyla çıktı.
Oyunun henüz daha başlarında olmama rağmen oyun hikayesini oldukça merak ettiriyor. fizik kullanımı da oldukça oturaklı ve zevkli. Bulmaca kısmında henüz daha zor bir şeyle karşılaşmasam dahi yaptığınız hatalarda sizi zamanda geri döndürecek bir pembe zaman havuzu mevcut. Yani tekrar tekrar deneyebileceğiniz şekilde tasarlanmış.
Genel olarak oynayış biçimi zıplama, vurma, düşman temizleme ve bulmaca çözme üzerine kurulu. Kolunuzdan yakın mesafeye ateş atabildiğiniz bir sistem mevcut daha doğrusu oyunun başında o hale geliyor. Ayrıca etrafınızda parçalanmış nesneleri kendinize çekip gerektiğinde onlarla savaşmak, gerektiğinde ise bulmacaların çözümüne yardımcı olabilmek amacı ile kullandığınız ayrı bir sistem mevcut.
Oyunun en büyük eksi tarafı ise kontrolleri. kulağa çok basit gelse de böyle bir oyun için tüm artıları götürebilecek bir durum bu. Zıplarken, koşarken ve hatta vururken kesinlikle sizmişsiniz gibi hissetmiyorsunuz. Öyle ki bazen kendinizi Twitch'de oyun videosu izliyor gibi hissedebilirsiniz.
Oyunla alakalı en büyük şansım ise oyunun kodunun bana Switch için verilmesiydi bence. Oyun önce PC platformuna gelse de bence kesinlikle el konsolu için yaratılmış bir oyun. Diğer platformlarda deneme fırsatı henüz bulamasam da oyunun oynanış biçimi "benim yerim burası" diye bağırıyor resmen.
Dediğim gibi oyunun henüz daha başlarındayım ve eğer kontrollere katlanıp oyunu bitirebilirsem bu incelememi güncelleyeceğim.

Pokemon developer Game Freak created an original and fun experience. this is a fine mix between environmental puzzles and entertaining narrative about machine invaders. the game will last 10-15 hours and it is a good value overall.
Giga Wrecker ALT. has some cool ideas, a good level design and even cooler physics, but is hampered by floaty controls and a basic combat system. Recommended, but not without caveats.
Giga Wrecker Alt. is a bit of a mixed bag, and it's hard to see just who would get the most out of it. There are some great elements in here. Some really great ideas. The sad truth is, it's a pretty poor execution of so many promising elements. The flawed controls, combined with the major issues on establishing how and where to progress makes ultimately for a pretty frustrating experience. Not the good type of frustrating, where a roar and a smile inspires a confidence to overcome. The sort of frustration to lead to just wanting to dump the game.
Despite a lack of originality and questionable controls I found myself coming back to Giga Wrecker Alt to tackle that puzzle, overcome that boss or just explore its world. If you are looking for a ground breaking new entry in Game Freak's reserve or something similar to the Pokémon titles then this may not be the title for you. However, Game Freak's team has stepped out of their comfort zone and developed a game with some rather satisfying qualities which may just tide you over.
Creators of Pokémon or not, some interesting ideas can’t override the terrible execution in this staggeringly ugly 2D platformer.
Giga Wrecker Alt., un juego diferente con un cierto estilo metroidvania por los creadores de Pokemon.
Es como si este juego fuera un compendio de buenas ideas, pero llevadas a cabo por un solo programador amateur... recordandome a los juegos flash de la epoca de "newgrounds".
Lo mejor de Giga Wrecker es seguramente su historia, sin ser nada que te vaya a cambiar la vida, es una historia futurista interesante con suficientes giros de guión.
Los problemas es todo lo otro, pero especialmente la jugabilidad. El control del personaje se siente muy poco fino, como un pegote que se mueve de forma afilada sobre un escenario cuadriculado (que es justamente a lo que me refiero con que parece un juego de newground). Esto se ve empeorado porque el juego es atrevido incorporando un increible sistema de físicas con respecto a los objetos y enemigos destruibles cuyos restos podemos manipular, un sistema increible, pero muy tosco junto al control, lo que acaba resultando en situaciones donde moriremos por culpa de la combinación de ambos de manera repetitiva. Quitando eso el juego se centra sobre todo en puzzles combinando estas físicas, con el eventual combate contra jefes y algún que otro emplazamiento puñetero de enemigos (eso sí, no elijáis el modo difícil porque la dificultad no se puede cambiar y los jefes acaban matándote de dos golpes...).
Otros problemas menores: la música acaba resultando repetitiva (poca variedad), los gráficos son demasiado toscos...
En última instancia es un juego disfrutable, pero desde luego no parece el juego de un programador profesional, si no de alguien experimentando con buenas ideas.
