Most expect you to have honed your skills to perfection through years and years of playing other likeminded games; TorqueL expects nothing less than for you to relearn all your skills anew.

Torque L is a physics-based puzzle-platformer that enters an already saturated genre and brings with it a unique mechanic that does have promise. It's just a shame that the games execution is not as good as the premise.

TorqueL isn't a real puzzle platformer. In order to win, you have to mash the buttons and hope to god that you can make it through. The baseTorqueL isn't a real puzzle platformer. In order to win, you have to mash the buttons and hope to god that you can make it through. The base game mechanics are pretty clever, but the controls and the puzzles themselves are awful. Few puzzles are actually cool, requiring you to think, but others make you play the "mash all buttons at once" game. Expand
