It’s so beautiful, cute and charming that even the grimmest death metal fans will go ‘awwww’. If you want to introduce someone to the world of games this gem is hands down the best way to do that. [09/2015, p.57]

Yoshi's Woolly World is a challenging, cleverly designed platformer that as delightful to play as it is to look at. It's unbelievably beautiful, unrelentingly challenging, and undeniably adorable.

Yoshi's Woolly World is not a revolutionary or especially fresh proposition, bet offers captivating, addictive and simply enjoyable gameplay. In combination with excellent graphics, it makes the game worth recommending to every fan of platformers.

Yoshi’s Woolly World doesn’t do much that we haven’t seen before in Nintendo’s long history of these sorts of games, and its exceptional cuteness factor helps overcome some of its slightly derivative design. But in a season so focused on doing vicious harm in virtual worlds, its lovely to take a whimsical stroll with this delightful dinosaur daredevil.

Yoshi’s Woolly World is a charming, yet unchallenging platformer that succeeds at being an amusing way to pass the time.

Finding hidden items is technically an optional side-quest, but paradoxically, it's also the game's only real challenge.

Grab yourself a buddy (or spouse), play this on co-op, and go for those collectibles! Yoshi's Woolly World is packed with fun secrets to find, and a lot of the levels are perfectly built for 2 players.

If any review said the game was "too easy", they were playing it wrong. You could probably blow through all of these levels if you wanted to, but those people shouldn't be reviewing games, now should they? Sit back, hunt for treasures with a friend, and enjoy all of the work they put into this beautiful game.

The soundtrack is top-notch, catchy goodness. The controls, gameplay, and design are solid. If this game doesn't get proper attention now, I'm confident it will later.

Also, GameSpot's review is trash. Who's reviewing Nintendo games over there? A chimp?
