The songs have a good beat, but it's the same thing every time. I will be looking forward to his next album and hopefully it will not be a letdown like this one was.

This album was pretty solid. It has some catchy trap beats and Gunna is great as always. It isn't really the most unique album, but Gunna does what he's good at here. He didn't snitch on me so... I liked it a lot. All jokes aside my favorite song was "fukumean".

Context and a bold lack of featured artists lend a sense of solitary unease that differentiates these exploits from those recounted in his earlier output.

Gunna’s still making songs that would fit on a Drip Season deluxe, but it’s juxtaposed with pain ballads you’d hear on a Lil Durk album. And though the instrumentals and somber delivery evoke the pain he’s clearly going through, he keeps the audience at a distance, making the album poignant, but also obligatory.

Considering that many of Gunna’s past projects have been largely defined by their star power, their total absence here results in a back-to-basics album with a healthy amount of breathing room, one that’s able to showcase Gunna’s own talents with an unusual amount of clarity.
