A phenomenal, and fun, debut from the most exciting artist to come from the UK in the last few years. A Moment of Madness blends neo-soul, pop and RnB together in the most satisfying of ways, bringing together every expertly written song in a way that should be messy, but rather ends up as a few moments of madness that you will want to revisit! With 17 tracks this album could be expected to take off to somewhere fantastic but, although we stay very much on the same page throughout the duration of the record, the pristine production of A Moment Of Madness is faultless.

This makes for a very agreeable summer cocktail--aptly, it was originally scheduled for a June release--but comes up short if you prefer breeziness to be sometimes clouded by messier emotions.

At 17 tracks, A Moment of Madness could be more taut and, frankly, have a bit more madness in the mix. Bizu is such a gifted vocalist that it would’ve been a treat to get a few less polished cuts.
