Dec 4, 2012My brother introduced me to this album, and I will admit, it is pretty great. The lyrics are amongst the saddest I've heard in awhile. It's fantastic though. The opener "Album Of The Year' is one of the best tracks I've heard ever. All In All, Album Of The Year is a great record with great lyrics.

AndyAug 16, 2006One of those albums that needs to be heard all the way through to completely understand. The lyrics are probably the best you'll ever hear.

BenDAug 28, 2005An excellent album which is even is even better than Tim Kasher's other band, Cursive. Is it really the album of the year though? Not quite but it is definately up there. There should of been more upbeat songs like "Lovers Need Lawyers".

NickCSep 22, 2004I've seen them live, i've shouted out lyrics all alone on the road, i've sung sweet harmonies between me and my best girlfriend.... hell, i've even tranced myself into sleeping occasionally with the good life playing in the background. Everything Kasher touches is tormented, twisted, and beautiful. It's also worth purchasing and playing the hell out of.

BrandonMAug 25, 2004This is a great album! It's not as "excited" as the Lovers Need Lawyers E.P., but great nonetheless. This would be a welcome and solid addition to anyone's record collection.

AlexHAug 13, 2004Very solid CD, amazing song writing which is to be expected from Tim Kasher. The sound of the album is not as compelling as the Lovers Need Lawyers EP or Black Out LP, but this album is certainly lyrically driven, and it certainly succeeds in the highest sense possible.
