Sep 4, 2014This is one of the best albums of 2014, Zammuto is the true cream of life this day and age. No matter what any music critic says online, Zammuto is a band that transcends petty internet jargon and offers us all a deep look inside a true musicians heart and soul.

Sep 4, 2014Not sure how Nick Zammuto keeps doing it after a decade and half, but this album is a perfect continuation of his music catalog. It touches on every emotion you can think of. You can listen to it quietly in the comfort of your headphones, or listen to it as background music while chilling with friends; the ultimate in road trip music. This band KILLS live too! Bravo!

Sep 5, 2014Wow, wow, wow...this album is amazing. It's so refreshing to hear something that sounds so smooth while being so intricate . One of my favorite tracks is 'Good Graces'. He adds the vocals of Daniela Gesundheit, from the group 'Snow Blink' , as a beautiful surprise at the end. The song literally just pulled me in. This album is highly recommended.

Sep 5, 2014One of the most exhilarating and creative albums of the year thus far. [Sep/Oct 2014, p.107]

Sep 5, 2014Even though Anchor is a truly disappointing work from such an inventive mind, it’s not enough to suggest that he’s reached the point of creative bankruptcy.

Sep 5, 2014The resulting sound pieces are still intricately weird and weirdly intricate, and if Anchor sacrifices some of the hushed intimacy of a Books record (see: Zammuto’s self-consciously rock delivery on “IO” or the raw and lurching snare sound on the great “Sinker”), it retains the promise that anything, and any sound, is momentarily possible within these musical boundaries.
