  1. Aphrodite is the work of someone who knows exactly what her skills are and who to hire to help showcase them to perfection.
  2. Aphrodite is pure Kylie magic. Everything that made you fall in love with her all over again before is present and correct here.
  3. The new set casts a spell with Stuart Price's signature preternatural touches, Minogue's breathy chirp and the hooky melodies of a varied crew of dance pop-focused songwriters and producers.
  4. Maybe that's why Aphrodite is such a letdown -- there's nothing nuanced or even catchy about the material. It's a perfectly serviceable soundtrack to a thumping Friday night, but it's also a flat listen.
  5. Although the album is an exercise in euphoric clubland dreaming, tracks Closer and Everything Is Beautiful remind us there is perhaps a more sincere side to Kylie that is often overlooked.
  6. The diminutive Australian diva is still delivering disco thunder from Down Under.
  7. Kylie sticks to formula, makes half decent record.
  8. There aren't many new ideas here, just more of the old reliable - which, from such a believer, is still finely executed.
  9. With five singles sitting and waiting, Aphrodite is the record she needed.
  10. Aphrodite is her most unified work in ages.
  11. Sometimes dance pop with this much gloss and unabashed glee is relegated to the realms of guilty pleasure, but Aphrodite is that rare representation of perfect production that is just pleasure, pure and simple.
  12. Aphrodite is everything you expect it to be: inspiring, motivating and celebratory.
  13. The rest lumbers by in a blur of anaemic vocals and dull soundscapes. [Aug 2010, p.117]
  14. Aphrodite is her finest work since 1997's underrated Impossible Princess, teaming her with Madonna producer Stuart Price.
  15. The entire album has the sonic consistency of cotton candy: It won't exactly give you a headache, but it could leave you with a stomachache.

Minogue delivers bliss like no other (wo)man or machine.
  17. Aphrodite feels like a disjointed hodge-podge of shallow Hi-NRG dance-floor bangers for a decidedly older crowd.
  18. Despite sharp production, Aphrodite is only as good as Kylie herself. And because her voice is limited to squeaks, exhalations and woe-begone sighs, it's hard to stay interested unless you happen to be on a dancefloor at 4am, which is probably the only sensible place to hear it.
  19. No one's asking for reality in this pop bubble--just a little bit more innovation.
  20. 40
Despite her vaguely regal poise, and a songwriting crew including Jake Shears, Calvin Harris and Tim-from-Keane, Aphrodite is dismayingly anonymous pop-trance. [Aug 2010, p.84]
  21. 70
Her return to electro-pop form on Aphrodite–Minogue's 11th studio record in 23 years–is on point, maybe even better, than much of her discography.

This album is proof positive that one can do perfect pop, or as close to him. In times when Pop has become extremely commercialized, Minogue arrives with a proposal dancepop in fact nothing much up there, but listening to him you realize what is possible dancepop for your headphones, without any aggression by strikes very heavy. Generally speaking, Aphrodite is one of the best pop albums of 2010. Highlighting the "All The Lovers" and "Get Outta My Way. " Worth a listen. Full Review »

Though the singles are excellent the rest of the album leaves a little something to be desired. Perhaps if there was more lyrical detail rather than focus on the theme this may have been stronger. Download: All The Lovers, Aphrodite, Better than Today Full Review »

Pure pop perfection! That's how POP must sound! Kylie at her best! Though album becomes a little bit boring at the end, Kylie still rocks! The best songs for me are All The Lovers, Get Outta My Way and Closer. Full Review »
