    Clever, but not clever-clever. [Nov 2012, p98]

As it stands, the rich resources Acheson has at his disposal are sadly compromised and the orchestra is indeed hidden rather than exposed.

Hidden Orchestra occasionally skirt the borderline of cheese, but thankfully manage to stay on the right side of it, for the most part.
  4. Composer Joe Acheson seems more interested in texture than development and you can long for a discordant voice, but as head-nodding experiences go, this is pretty good.

As the album unfolds you're drawn inexorably into a world of high quality music that deserves to be savoured, devoured, replayed and pored over, and above all, enjoyed.

great album that i enjoy listening from the start to the end and the last song just closes it greatly (even though is quite short). is nice to hear bands that stands out from others and HO does that and blowing your ears if you let them. Full Review »
