Kerrang!Jan 4, 2018Danny's back where he belongs, and Asking Alexandria have returned with their boldest record yet. [2 Dec 2017, p.49]
-
Jan 4, 2018Regardless of a stumble or two, Asking Alexandria is well worth a listen. While The Black was a passable offering at a time when it seemed like it would be a permanent arrangement, this reunion simply feels right.
-
Jan 4, 2018It doesn’t sound like Def Leppard, but it is reminiscent of that band’s willingness to smooth off metal’s rough edges and boost the melodies.
-
Jan 4, 2018Overall, the songs are well-written and daring. Some tracks are more successful than others (”Where Did It Go?” and “Vultures” are standouts), but it is an altogether engaging listen.

Jul 22, 2018This album has great melodies. Tracks like Under Denver and Room 138 are very touching and surprising for their lyrical complexity and deep meaning.
