Nobody like Brett Anderson. His voice so melancholic and charming. Autofiction is one the best albums of the year. Especially It's 'Always the Quiet Ones' is the song of the year.

Although I am not their fan since they debuted, but I love them since 2011, and here in their 9th album I found another dimension of Suede. What a blast! After 8 albums, more than 30 years, Suede renew themselves once again with a masterpiece, probably only second to Dog Man Star. They love music, there are so many influences, and love making music. Richard Oakes is a very talented Artist, Simon Gilbert is Suede raw heartbeat, Matt Osman has magic bass lines in his fingers, Neil Codling is a bliss and Brett has that somethingWhat a blast! Wild, fresh and dark… Suede sounds dangerous and sexy again. What an album! So many triumphs. Although this is a bangers album, there is so much sonic texture to explore, the ambient What Am I Without You, for example! This LP is going to be a sleeper hit for the band. One of the top 5 releases of the year.

To put it simply, a triumph and their most exciting record ever. Highlights? All of them, but "It's always the quiet ones" is astonishing.

Enérgico y lírico, un triunfo de Suede... la mejor banda británica de los últimos 30 años

Not seriously listened to Suede in years. Who knew they had morphed into the best rock band in the world? This is an amazing, perfect album - mostly a riotous glam stomp of a thing, with some devastating and moving slower moments. Probably my favourite album of the year and certainly a career peak.

This album is magnificent!!! A great return from probably the best band of the 90s still around. There is not one bad track on this record, no fillers!!! A direct and solid record!!! Well done Suede and keep creating the best music!

This LP became the first one that made me listen to them. It's a good first impression that burned my interest to their early works. Good melancholic ang energetic album that you can listen to over and over again!

Suede have wisely sidestepped any 21st-century tropes which would have diluted their approach. They stick to their specialties here. ... One of the best records of their career.

The last time Suede sounded this muscular and urgent they were still in the process of discovering themselves. Here, the quintet know how to deploy not just their strengths but their distinctive blend of nervy post-punk, overheated glam, and yearning poetry to make an album that sounds full, complete, and utterly alive.

This album is not served to us on a platter as a radio-ready hit record, and it is not made ‘for us’, but it gives us something better — the feeling of being a part of this music and not a mere recipient.
