Sep 2, 2014As I'm writing this right now, Blacc Hollywood is Wiz's best album. It's very different from his previous albums (Rolling Papers & ONIFC) due to how diverse the tracks are, however lyrically it's almost pretty much the same. I found the album to be "fun" but the downside to the album is it lacked direction but strangely, it was something I also found so good about the album.

Jul 1, 2015It's a good album, for someone who "just wants to listen to music" and doesn't care about lyrics.
And even with the lyrics being bad, Cameron still talks about the things he does, cares/cares not about and enjoys and expresses who he is, what he does, why he does it and so-forth, and isn't that what we want our rappers to do? To be who they are? -

Aug 19, 2014Everybody know that Wiz Khalifa is not a lyrical genius, but I'm kinda tired of all the song about weed. Of course the beat is f*cking dope and contain awesome verse. So when you check the good and the bad, you can see that the album is kinda good.

Sep 6, 2014Blacc Hollywood se divide em faixas incríveis e faixas péssimas: as incríveis são Hope, We Dem Boys, Promises e Ass Drop, músicas muito boas, e que podem até fazer sucesso. As péssimas são So High, House In The Hills, The Sleaze e KK, que deixam o álbum enjoativo. Não é o melhor de Wiz Khalifa.

Dec 30, 2014Compared to "Show and Prove", and even "Rolling Papers", Wiz Khalifa's new LP feels like he's had too much alcohol and marijuana. The only song where I hear some sort of rapping is "House in the Hills" featuring up and coming rapper Curren$y. I was disappointed in the obsessive use of Auto-Tuned in the average lyrics. I'm not a fan if this new "Trap Wiz".

Jan 15, 2017This album is repetitive, bad produced, and most of all, LAZYY. Nothing special, just crap after crap .

Jan 9, 2021this wasnt it chief. the album was too damn trappy for my taste. "we dem boyz" and "you and your friends" stand out the most. not very memorable anywhere else. this was the beginning of his "mass release era" quality is always better than quantity...

Sep 4, 2014If you’re in it for the live-it-up-till-morning jams (and they are entertaining), then you’re going to be spinning this record at plenty of house parties. But artistically speaking, the album isn’t a progression of the rapper’s career; it’s content to stay on the same eternally- stoned playing field as 2012’s O.N.I.F.C.

Aug 29, 2014Melodies coast, but they don’t always stick; everything’s too mannered, too clean, and the album is marred by a clinicality further punctuated by its bonus tracks.

Aug 22, 2014The lyrics on this album are more of the same.
