Lush and smooth, funky and ethereal, Celestial Electric is a sublimely down-tempo album filled with beautiful vocals and gorgeous orchestration. [#81, p. 52]

Celestial Electric can feel a little freewheeling and exploratory at times, but it also hints at great potential in future collaborations.

This type of zip-filed nostalgia is not particularly rare or new, but what makes this meeting of the minds work better than other collaborative vanity projects is the way these two artists' sensibilities flow seamlessly into one another, erasing any sense of the cut-and-pasting that brought the album to life.

For longtime fans, Celestial Electric is about as good as one could have hoped for the coming together of two like-minded musicians.

Celestial Electric settles into its midtempo shuffle early on and rarely strays from it and doesn't do enough to command attention when it does.

Every track sounds like you've heard it before. And LOVED it. A fabulous album for quality 70's and 80's pop lovers. Influences abound.Every track sounds like you've heard it before. HIGHLY recommended. Expand
