    I have been a fan of Justin Bieber for ten years and I really love his previous songs from Baby to What Do You Mean to Love Yourself. But recent years he is just not as good as he was before. In almost every song in this album, he tried to show his love to his wife, Hailey Bieber, in a very flat and weak way. They just can’t make you feel anything. And the melodies are terrible. I feelI have been a fan of Justin Bieber for ten years and I really love his previous songs from Baby to What Do You Mean to Love Yourself. But recent years he is just not as good as he was before. In almost every song in this album, he tried to show his love to his wife, Hailey Bieber, in a very flat and weak way. They just can’t make you feel anything. And the melodies are terrible. I feel like I’ve listened to the same song for 16 times(I skipped the remix one), which means they are not impressive sonically, neither. All I felt is disappointment. C’mon bro, you can be better. In conclusion, this album is merely trash. It might as well just be produced to give his wife to listened.… Expand

    Pure trash, a total waste of time. It doesn’t surprise and it’s more pathetic that in fact he said that this would be an amazing album. But we all known that with the Yummy this would be a total sh!t and it was. Nothing new. Nothing extravagant. Just trash.

    With juvenile lyrics and disappointing vocals, Justin Bieber’s return to solo music is a huge disappointment. Yummy, a terrible, mind-numbing ear worm of a song was a harbinger of the terrible album to come.

    THIS ALBUM IS PERFECT!!!!!!! his voice in all the songs is incredible, the lyrics are wonderful, he participated 100% in the creation process, seriously, this album has no defects, I'm so proud of him

    His voice has never sounded so good, every song has its own vibe to it and I just can’t get enough - there are no skips for me. Second emotion is my favourite!

    Journals 2.0 ——- but happier and even better. Honestly his voice is angelic, the beats our fire, and the message is beautiful. As a married woman, this will be the soundtrack for my husband’s and my Valentine’s Day. Even if you don’t like him, give this album a listen- it will blow you away!!!

    Great album, definitely a step up from Purpose and has really good songs, even though Yummy is a fun song (if you're not on the Justin Bieber hate bandwagon, you would understand that it's a fun song).

    I LOVE SO MUCH THAT ALBUM! Is a R&B masterpiece, modern and classic at the same time. Him vocals just snapped, the lyrics and the vibe! Love it, just love it!

    An amazing album. So cohesive and sonically pleasing even Yummy sounds good with the flow. I think it's safe to say JB never disappoints when it comes to albums!

    I don't know what happened here, this album is NOTHING compared to what Purpose was, the album falls in being as lazy as Justin's persona has become now-a-days.

    PS: i still don't comprehend how Yummy got Grammy nominations

    what great about this album is how it perfectly displays the worst aspects of both the pop and r&b genre. when the monotonous almost cartoonishly unoriginal single 'yummy' dropped all of us who had seen exactly what JB was capable of from his Purpose era collectively laughed and said: is this a joke? well unfortunately this reaction can be used to describe the entire project.it is sowhat great about this album is how it perfectly displays the worst aspects of both the pop and r&b genre. when the monotonous almost cartoonishly unoriginal single 'yummy' dropped all of us who had seen exactly what JB was capable of from his Purpose era collectively laughed and said: is this a joke? well unfortunately this reaction can be used to describe the entire project.it is so extremely forgettable that i couldn't write this review fairly without playing it in the background which unfortunately reminds me how lackluster the parts i could remember are. the title track ironically felt most like a filler whilst the track yummy wasn't outshined as the worst track of this album, his career and year. the intro begins nicely enough with his exemplary r&b vocals and clichéd production but is brought down b the saccharine lyrics and stupid adlibs. this continues through out most of this record taking a reprieve only at ''take it out on me'' the only good track in this album. i felt like this album wasn't an artistic effort more than it was a bid to sell and top charts which it did. if that is considered ALONE it would be a success but since those aren't the only criteria's for records its an abysmal out put created to be used in viral tik tok dances and cringe food commercials. Justin could and should've done better than this .… Expand

    He makes ugly music now, he lost his inspiration years ago because all I hear from his music is nonsense and bad taste, the worst thing is he thinks his music is the best in the world, you really need to do something different with your life dude, music is not for you anymore.

    The main problem with «Changes» is that it isn’t exciting or dynamic and suffers from dragging in places. Part of this is down to the lack of variation on the album.

    While Bieber's voice still sounds like that of a mid- to late-teen, singing seems to come more naturally to him, and his falsetto pleas are neither bitter nor entitled, strictly genuine and adult.

    Artists can certainly grow up and mature without losing their edge or creative spark. Changes, however, is ultimately a transitional record that finds Bieber navigating how to reconcile adulthood with pop stardom—and discovering that, at least in his case, this merger is a tricky one.
