Justin’s vocals are a solid 9/10 but damn he really needs some practice on how to write songs with substance, without the backings this album would not be very good at all. I would very much enjoy a instrumental version. A lot of cute bops and what not but the features suck. We don’t need Quavo or Post or LIL Dicky on this, just distracting from the overall flow of the album. I want to give this a solid 6.5-7 out of 10 but the sheer amount of 0’s makes me want to bump it to a 10 to spite them :) Have a great day ❤️… Expand

Sou amante desse estilo e sempre imaginava ouvir o Justin cantar um álbum inteiro de música assim, eAchei o álbum incrível. Dentro do que o Justin sempre sonhou em trabalhar. Fico feliz em ouvir os vocais muito bem colocados e bem feitos. Tem o R&B com essência pop e ficou muito com a cara dele. É muito bom ouvir a inserção do violão com os elementos sexys do Rhythm and Blues. Sou amante desse estilo e sempre imaginava ouvir o Justin cantar um álbum inteiro de música assim, e sinceramente? Me agradou. Tem a cara dele. Esperava faixas mais lentas como 'Trust' do próprio, ou como a icônica 'Thinking about you' do Frank Ocean, mas como álbum de transição tudo pareceu bem colocado. É bom se aventurar, e Justin fez isso de uma maneira incrível como vem fazendo em 10 anos de carreira. Por fim, é incomparável ao 'Purpose', já que, este, é extremamente voltado ao público pop com anuances de EDM. São álbuns diferentes, para momentos diferentes que devem ser igualmente desfrutados.     You can listen how he has grow, the vocals, the lyrics, his voice sounds mature but at the same time you still can listen those soft and cute vocals. I think the production is a 10/10 and lyrically is a perfect mix of being a married man doing a r&b album. Justin is back and better than ever!

    Journals 2.0 ——- but happier and even better. Honestly his voice is angelic, the beats our fire, and the message is beautiful. As a married woman, this will be the soundtrack for my husband’s and my Valentine’s Day. Even if you don’t like him, give this album a listen- it will blow you away!!!

    Amazing, cohesive and mature album. His vocals have improved massively and you can tell he’s connected to the content. It also sounds more like him lyrically. Rnb is his genre - he does it way better than he does pop. Some of the stand out songs are All Around Me, ETA, Second Emotion, Changes, Take It Out On Me and Thats What Love Is. 10/10, absolutely amazing album.

The compilation of songs and cohesiveness is so smooth. It is obvious that he was completely transparent and put his whole heart into this album. This album is pure bliss.     its actually a bomb album. people wanted different songs from him though, they wanted pop radio hits but instead he put out authentic music. its a shame to see such a good album be trashed just bc others cant except growth. if you like r&b, pop and soul this album is definitely for you. i personally love At Least For Now, Forever, Come Around Me, Habituals and Available
