Bop after bop! Kim Petras is a gem that we're unworthy of. The banger ICY hits so hard!

Even tough "Turn Off the Lights, pt. 1" is 100 times better and more cohesive than this, it is still a good album.

Clarity is a stunning album that makes you want to dance, sing and maybe even shed a tear. Petras has never been so sure of herself and isn't afraid to do her own thing. Clarity is a refreshing pop album that we need right now.

This is the the album that saves the Pop Industry (at least this year). Is fresh, powerful and strong. The lyrics are personal and the sound is the perfect mix between Pop and R&B. It's (almost) perfection.

very mixed. half the album is completely filler and i'm a bit disappointed considering i was so impressed with turn off the light vol. 1 at the time.

I hope she continues to launch a body of work as good as this far from her career. Expand

Clarity may not be for you if you’re looking for something new that’s never been done before. However, that doesn’t take away from how Kim does some of the best, most flavorful pop out there. I found the quality to be very consistent, and the sound and themes coherent. I’ve been listening again and again since release! While the production is great, I would like to see her cut ties with Dr. Luke in the future. She doesn’t need his baggage as an ab*ser weighing down her image and shouldn’t support him. I only mention this because not everyone can separate art from artist. For some, music can make them feel a connection with the artist. I lean more that way, so I feel a lot better appreciating music from artists without too much controversy. Regardless, I wish her the best moving forward and look forward to more great music!

When Kim released Broken, I didn't really care much for her new music but I enjoyed it anyways. I didn't expect her to release 2 tracks every week. She really spoiled us with these songs. The perfect combination of pop, hip hop and trap was made within this mixtape. Im really proud of kim as she has come really far and made "era 2" my favourite era of her.

Kim Petras successfully combines retro-inspired dance-pop and modern trap beats into an album that not only shows her versatility as an artist. Songs like "Sweet Spot" and "Personal Hell" bring her back to her previous EP "Turn Of The Light" with electronic beats and powerhouse vocals, while "All I Do Is Cry" and "Broken" transform the singer into a modern downbeat trap pop vocalist. I adore Kim Petras. This mixtape was fun and had some great tracks. I do think it lacked cohesion and had a couple weaker points, but Kim is a great writer and vocalist. Even though it could be stronger, it was a great introduction for what's to come. Woo-ah.

With a buoyant and self-aware use of slang that will have you opening up Urban Dictionary, paired with the one-track-per-week release schedule and the songs to back it up, Kim proves herself to be a true millennial pop princess in waiting.

The outstanding “Clarity” is her first full-length album, full of songs that are stitched so tightly and varnished so brightly that they cease to be mere pastiche and transcend into something utterly new.

Clarity, her debut album, falls short of capturing the breadth of Petras's rarity, excluding a few crystalline moments.
