The return of this excellent band is dark and different, there are many amazing moments ,like atmospheric and challenging sounds, but i prefer their last album

Like it's predecessor, it's an album that is very rewarding; if you are patient. It has very long tracks, but they immerse you in a wonderful world of atmospheric minimalism created by The Field. The entire album, and the title track in particular, have cemented Willner's place in the electronic music scene.

On Cupid's Head there are moments of magic, but you'll have to remain patient. [Nov-Dec 2013, p.100]

The Field’s etheric sound continues to soothe, anesthetize and drown. Like a headcleaner for muddled thoughts and scrambled state of mind, his music somehow launders all that’s crumbled, stiff and foul.

His fourth LP is darker, but, more important, it's rougher, working wrinkles and jagged edges into music that used to feel almost too smooth to grab on to.
