Oct 8, 2013Like it's predecessor, it's an album that is very rewarding; if you are patient. It has very long tracks, but they immerse you in a wonderful world of atmospheric minimalism created by The Field. The entire album, and the title track in particular, have cemented Willner's place in the electronic music scene.

Under The RadarDec 4, 2013On Cupid's Head there are moments of magic, but you'll have to remain patient. [Nov-Dec 2013, p.100]

Nov 4, 2013The Field’s etheric sound continues to soothe, anesthetize and drown. Like a headcleaner for muddled thoughts and scrambled state of mind, his music somehow launders all that’s crumbled, stiff and foul.

Nov 1, 2013His fourth LP is darker, but, more important, it's rougher, working wrinkles and jagged edges into music that used to feel almost too smooth to grab on to.
