May 25, 2018The perfect example for ‘QUALITY OVER QUANTITY ALBUM’.
This is pure poetry on extra fire beats.
Perfect raps, perfect beats, perfect samples, perfect mixing. Just PERFECT. -

Jun 1, 2018Kanye and Pusha T compliment each other incredibly well in this well crafted pure hip-hop album.
-
May 30, 2018Kanye chopping up the soul and King Push's gritty punchlines and excellent lyrics. Great Project, modern day classic.
-
Jun 14, 2018On this album, Pusha T sounds as hungry as a young artist trying to make a statement with his first album. I have no favorite song because every song is amazing. He cemented himself in history as part of Clipse and now, he's done it as a solo artist. All killer no filler.
-
Jun 4, 2018Full on awesome. Perfection in flow and production. The Collaboration between Kanye and Pusha T is the star here!
-
May 31, 2018Devil flow **** Classic album by push. Always kills all his projects. Bars are insaine!!
-
May 28, 2018This is an absolute perfection. Here I am on my 8th listen in a row. Album of the year for me.
impeccable production and Pusha T always comes through with the lyrics. For now, this is most definitely THE album of the year. -
May 26, 2018In just 7 tracks, ~20 minutes of music, Pusha T, alongside Kanye, have pushed the boundaries of hip-hop, while defying trends of artists putting out 20+-track long albums. With no fillers and ruthless lyrics, these two have created a minimalist atmosphere. Waiting 8 years for this album was definitely worth.
Fav Track: all of the songs on this album
Least Fav track: none -
May 25, 2018kanye's production on this album makes me nut so damn hard and pusha t is great too
-
Jun 22, 2018Classic. The production is lush, fits the luxury rap brand, the verses are airtight, wordplay is clever, the voice is strong, ideas sharp - it knows how to become a mood.

Jul 1, 2018great album no fillers no skits no single. just straight to the point. you gotta love an album that has 7 songs and all 7 are good. the first thing I thought when I heard it was 7 songs I was like it better be 7 good ass songs. and what do you know it was. wish everyone had an a&r like push. to tell them to cut the fat out just straight meat.
-
Jun 1, 2018Wow! Rap album of the year as of June. Pusha T proves why he is a legendary lyricists, this time with Kanye West beats. This album, more EP than LP, is like a fine restaurant: rich, indulgent, and leaves you wanting more.
-
Jun 12, 2018Daytona is the best album of the year so far and Pusha T's best solo effort. It's just as good as, if not slightly better than, Hell Hath No Fury.
-
May 26, 2018Who ever thought a 21 minute rap album could define the culture for even layman with no reference to it whatsoever? This LP has an extraordinary EPIC nature both thematically (instrumentals) and Conceptually (Lyrically).

May 27, 2018Such an amazing project. DAYTONA is the the King Push we always hoped for and more. Pusha T's time spent with Kanye in Wyoming sure did pay off, as this album combines gritty drug storytelling with soulful and banging production.
-
May 28, 201821 minute perfection, 7 flawless tracks. This is Pusha T's best solo work..

Feb 7, 2021I don't know if I should be wishing it was longer, because in its current state it's one of the most calculated and pristine albums of the 2010s. In true Pusha T fashion, it's incredibly intentional, to the point where every song is polished, almost every bar a hard-hitter, and the tone crystal clear. Easily one of the most re-listenable albums I've heard
-

-
May 25, 201821 minute perfection, 7 flawless tracks. Pusha T's best solo work, his raps are pure brilliant street rap and Kanye's beats are awesome. I love all of the tracks. LONG LIVE KING PUSH.
-
May 26, 2018This is akin to Pusha T's version of 'The Blueprint' by Jay-Z or 'Be' by Common. A Kanye produced album head to toe, with strong lyricism, heavy hitting beats and captivating storytelling. A must listen!
-
May 27, 2018Spectacular, Simple and Surreal. The production is amazing, the quality as a body of work is consistent. Tracks like Santeria sum up how good this album is, although 7 tracks for an album is short, it delivers and is straightforward. Amazing Album, instant Classic, Its replay value is there.
-
May 25, 20189.5 but round it up so 10. This album had VERY few misses and showed what we see time and time again. Kanye and Pusha have insane chemistry and When pushed in a corner, KANYE ALWAYS PRODUCES (MBDTF, 808s, etc.) Kanye's production skills are matched by few and he let his production compliment Push in a godly way. Two very talented artists and a near perfect album.
-
May 26, 2018Didnt even know this album was releasing but glad i found it. Its got it all, fire beats, fire bars and a sick flow. Probably the best rap album ive heard this year.
-
Jun 12, 2018When all the controversy trailing DAYTONA is pruned, you're still treated to one of the best albums of the year. This is the magnum opus of King Push's long and storied career. And to achieve that with only 7 songs is very impressive.
-
Jun 3, 2018DAYTONA is an album inspired by the streets dedicated to the streets. Pusha delivers a present-day ode to drugs, money and personal identity. Produced by West, who with arguably the best ear in the industry, has made good on his investment into self-imposed seclusion with some of the best samplings in his discography.

May 25, 2018Terrible album. Worst one he ever put out! My ears hurt! The songs have no life and sound like fillers.
-
May 29, 2018Easily the best rap album of the year so far. The production is amazing and the lyrics are on point.
-
May 31, 2018Approx 11 minutes of more than decent material plus 10 minutes of quite uninspired remainder does not an AOTY contender make. Also, charging album prices for said 'EP plus bonus B-Sides' is not really an acceptable business venture in my book. Good thing we're living in 2018 - stream the four best songs, move on, never refer to this as an 'album' - job done.
-
Aug 20, 2018The songs on this album are a mixed bag of fire and mediocrity. The lyrics are straight fire though flows can be somewhat repetitive on occasion. The beats used in DAYTONA are mostly well fitting when not headache inducing or boring.
-
Dec 21, 2019Intense project filled with banger beats, impressive lyrics, heavy and passionate delivery, ultimately leaving you wanting more. Gone with the filler & filled with banger after banger. Amazing project

Apr 23, 2022This is the album that The Prelude was leading up to. While extremely short every song here is packed with dense lyricism and great production by Kanye.
-
Aug 20, 2018Better than Kids see Ghosts and Ye together. Beyond excellent West's production, here contains great rhymes. Pusha T is better emcee than Kid Cudi and West, although second's influence and importance. Its only defect is being too short as same as great, although "Daytona" competes with Monae's "Dirty Computer" as a 2018 year's best album.
-
Jun 30, 2018This is as amazing as a production of an album can get, although Pusha was great, i couldn't help but to think that the beat selection, didn't bring the best out of him. Push T has a great flow, but it's a flow that keeps going through the whole 7 tracks, he didn't try to fit in into them, but his delivery and lyrics are still good. It's a very well done project, and i highly recommend it

Jun 17, 2018Thanks to some help from the production-savvy Kanye West, Pusha T has went from run-of-the-mill to one of the most cutting-edge rappers of 2018 with 'Daytona'. An experimental and ruthless release that targets the most controversial topics in the current music climate.
-
May 26, 2018Amazing album. Samples are powerful and cohesive. Every track goes together perfectly with the next one and the length of this records has that replay value we needed in the streaming era. Still, this record lacks substance and could be lyrically better. Overall, a modern day classic
-
May 27, 2018Great album - Kanye's production is spot on. I wouldn't have expected Pusha T to still be around and so relevant when he first dropped. He still has stuff to say, including some jabs at Drake and Birdman. This album is concise and shouldn't be missed

Jun 2, 2018I never could finish a Pusha T album. I tried so many times, but would find myself skipping songs. This album however, is his best work. I can pick any song from this album and convince people to listen to it's entirety. Come Back Baby is my absolute favorite. If You Know You Know ;)
-
Dec 3, 2018Daytona is an instant classic. At a short 7 tracks and just over 20 minutes. Pusha T gets in and he gets out. He and Kanye West are a perfect match. Kanye West provides elite production and Pusha's biting, raspy flow fits perfectly you can feel it tearing into your soul.
-
-
Jul 11, 2018There aren't many classic albums released by large-scale artists these days. This 7 track LP will go down in history among the ranks of works such as Illmatic, Licensed to Ill, The College Dropout, The Blueprint, Enter The Wu-Tang, etc. This release is a worthy listen with a run-time that will leave you wanting more.
-
Aug 31, 2021Short, hard hitting, amazing Album from King Push. The minimalistic sample-production from Kanye really added to the clear and sharp voice of Pusha T. There are no misses on this album for me. Pusha T's best work so far.

Poop, scoop! Whoop! Whoopty-whoop! -
Aug 17, 2019Pusha Thanos taking out half the rap game.
Best Tracks: The Games We Play, Santeria, Infared, Hard Piano(underrated)
Worst Tracks: If You Know You Know. -
Sep 29, 2019One of the best albums of 2018, a project with nearly perfect production and incredible rapping. The only downside to this album was surprisingly the Rick Ross feature, which was still decent.
-
Oct 11, 2019As always King Push spits fire. The production is great. The album is no filler all killer. Should have won Grammy for best rap album. It is one of the best album of the decade.

Jun 22, 2020With Ye choppin and king Push one of the best lyricists, spitting straight fire. One of the best out of Wyoming albums
-
Dec 21, 2020This is an incredible album, 2nd best rap album of the year just behind Kids See Ghosts. 11/10
-
Jan 5, 2021Feels like a full LP, great work by Kanye and Push. Good flows, beats and production.
-
Jan 7, 2021This album is so quality it's insane. Every song on here is great even though there is only 7 of them. If Pusha could pull this off with a 10 - 15 track record it would score higher than a 10. The Kanye production goes so hard on every track and when Pusha raps it just sounds like he puts so much heart into it. Personal favorite tracks are "Hard Piano", "Come Back Baby", and "What Would Meek Do?".
-
Feb 3, 2021Push delivers on every track in this short album with his clever lyrics and his slow-paced, hard-hitting delivery. Kanye did amazing work with the production on this album as well. My favorite tracks are If You Know You Know, Come Back Baby, Santeria, What Would Meek Do?, and Infrared.

-
Apr 27, 2022Nothing short of a classic! 7 songs & Pusha demonstrates his ability to be one of the greatest lyricist in the game! Best album of 2018!
-
Apr 28, 2022This is my favorite album of all time. The amount of replay value and fact that he made this so late in his career proves his status
-

Oct 8, 2018This is the sort of 'really good album' that can precede an all-time classic breakthrough album.
-
The WireJul 13, 2018The new Pusha T album is more assured and therefore effective than the last Clipse album, nowhere near the focused brilliance of their first two. All production is handled by Kanye West who’s likewise harking back to his glory days with assorted updates on his College Dropout sound. [Jul 2018, p.62]
-
MojoJun 25, 2018Daytona stands loud and proud among Pusha T's best work. [Aug 2018, p.91]
