Algumas faixas são lineares instrumentalmente falando, outras apresentam um excelente arranjo (é o caso de Right Words Wrong Time). No conjunto enredo x instrumento é um bom álbum.     Carly has done it again, Dedicated is another masterpiece from someone the world thought was a one-hit wonder. Every song is fantastic, some outshine others but each one feels wonderful in it's own right. I would like to especially mention "Want You In My Room", it is a masterpiece on an album full of them.

    Carly once again saves pop music with a collection of amazing synth-pop songs that can easily all be singles. As catchy and fun as 2015's e-mo-tion, Carly explores herself in different ways and delivers an amazing record worth listening to.

    Carly Rae Jepsen is a master in crafting pop songs into near perfect works of art that never age. Dedicated is by far her strongest project, even topping her 2015 classic Emotion. Following Carly’s music is a religion that only the dedicated (no pun intended) passionately practice.

    The album shows a side of Carly that feels fresh yet so her, she delivers amazing vocals and song writing along with a great production, I love how she expands her feelings without any doubt, from songs like “Want You In My Room” to “Party For One” she tells a story that feels very close to her, SHE HAS DONE AN AMAZING THING ONCE AGAIN, QUEEEEEN!

    After having an album as flawless and critically acclaimed as Emotion, and with having albums that were quite subpar in her early career, it was easy to get nervous about what Dedicated would provide. With earlier released tracks Now That I Found You and No Drug Like Me having more of a stereotypical radio pop song sound, expectations weren't settled. Although, after the full album release, things aligned perfectly in Carly's favour and any anxiety present was settled.

    The tracks previously mentioned do fit in perfectly well when the rest of the album is realised. It's a similar idea to I Really Like You fronting Emotion. It may be better for radio impact, but not for critical eye until the theme shines through. Carly didn't explore a brand new topic for her songs, but why pick a new lyrical topic when you have one that is so vast and mysterious. Love is something that Carly knows well, and everyone else knows it well too. Relatability is one of the keys to great pop. Want You In My Room is perfectly 80s reminiscent for enthusiastic room cleaning. Too Much is emotionally raw, a rhythmic rainfall and incredibly catchy. For Sure is a great 14th track to settle the album down with, as vocals simmer at just the right length to let drums and elephant noises leave the listener at peace. I haven't heard a pop album this good since Emotion, and I can't wait to see what Carly does next.    … Expand

    Perfection. Carly Rae Legend came for our throats with this one. Not sure if it’s better than EMOTION, but it doesn’t need to be. This was worth the 4 year wait. Pop music that is so unrelentingly pop that it’s basically niche. Love it.

    A great follow up to her last album Emotion, Dedicated hits just as hard and keeps the same vibe of great synths mixed in with pop ballads. Carly certainly has figured out what works and is sticking to it with this one. Definitely would recommend this cohesive and catchy pop masterpiece!

    Carly always manages to mix contemporary sounds with the old school pop sounds. And this album is no exception. Julien is the kind of song you must play at a party. Party For One had the power to be a smash hit but just as usual, people keep sleeping on her. Right Words Wrong Time is unique. Keep the bops coming Carly!

    I’m really proud of Carly. She had huge shoes to fill following up Emotion, and instead of trying to make the same again, she went a different direction and nailed it without losing what makes her so great. She is elevated pop, bringing in nuanced emotions into catchy songs about love. These songs take more time to grow on you than Emotion, but it’s worth it.

    One of the best pop albums I’ve listened to in a long time. Continuing with a sound similar to her last album, Emotion, Carly Rae brings us back to the era of 2000s pop, when pop music was at it’s peak. Refusing to jump on the current bandwagon of trap and other hip-hop beats, Carly Rae Jepsen reclaims her title as the Savior of Pop Music.

    Awesome album although I wouldn’t consider it superior to Emotion it definitely competes. In some ways this album feels more like a throwback than Emotion but it still feels fresh and modern with the help of the lyrics.

    A real piece of art, the sound she went with on this album is different than what she did with emotion. That doesn't mean it's not good, it's for the best honestly. The sounds are fresh and unique and she made pop what it's supposed to be.

    Carly's songwriting is evolving with every project she releases, it's just that with this album some songs can be better and to an extent should be cut to make the album stronger.

    Just everything you could ask for from a music album. It’s fun, passionate, beautiful, catchy and heart-wrenching. Everyone should listen to this and I’d be shocked if any of them didn’t like it. It’s completely phenomenal!

    Dedicated is naturally the best pop album of 2019. I dare to say it's even better than E•MO•TION! She evolved so much, sounds more mature and cohesive. Production is 10/10, synthpop perfection. Happy Not Knowing is a bopppp

    Carly como sempre entregando nada menos que a perfeição! Ainda não entendo como essa mulher é tão subestimada. Cada canção desse álbum traz um toque de originalidade onde Carly não deixa sua essencial de lado. Um álbum coeso que toca diretamente o coração de viadinhos apaixonados e sofridos. É isso galera.     There could be an argument that a couple of edits to make the track listing shorter would have resulted in an even more effective album. However, this is easily one of the best pop albums of the year as it is: one that’s unlikely to be bettered unless a certain Ms Swift really pulls it out of the bag.

    Dedicated isn’t a perfect album--it’s overlong and occasionally concedes too much to chart tastes to be interesting. But by the time Jepsen takes a bow following bonus track “Party For One,” you’re reminded once again of her generosity, of all the space she’s cleared for strength and weakness, for personal epiphanies and communal release.
