Our quality of life would instantly improve if this disc didn't exist. [Feb 2005, p.94]
  2. The compatibility between the browbeating belligerence of hardcore and the glitzkrieg of techno’s bare repetition is undeniable – and much more enjoyable than it reads on paper.
  3. One of this year's most remarkable "punk" albums.
  4. As an exercise in hubris and chutzpah it's a rather fascinating affair.

Genuinely anarchic and surprising. [Dec 2004, p.148]
  6. Spin

Daniel's bump-and-grind synth lines are all campy humor. [Mar 2005, p.92]
  7. It’s a highly idiosyncratic album that very few will appreciate every facet of. However, even with a very minimal knowledge of the source material, there’s much to love.
  8. None of the new album reaches the gaudy peaks of Do You Party?, but it bumps just as well through subtle atmospheres and strange detours.
  9. It's hit and miss, and the self-consciously bloodless vocalists are a drag.
  10. Uncut

As inventive and well-meaning as these bastard pop blasts are, they're still not a patch on the originals. [Dec 2004, p.153]
  11. Urb
    90
    Nasty and raw. [Jan/Feb 2005, p.97]

One of the best releases of 2004. The beats are as razor-sharp as the messages delivered in the lyrics. Fuck new wave, give me the SOFT PINK TRUTH.

I'd be willing to bet the reviewer at the Alternative Press is a serious homophobe.

this album is not perfect because it's too short (32 min), but despite this fact, this ROCKS! we want more soft pink truth!
