Show Me the Body's newest record, "Dog Whistle", is fully charged with aggressive riffs and demonic growls that relentlessly occur throughout it's quick 30-minute run time. Truly one of the best hardcore/punk releases in the last decade.

Dog Whistle is a fantastic record that hits harder than any of their previous releases while also being completely original and inventive. Due to its short length and restraint, it never dulls and only provides hard hitting riffs with stellar punk vocals. Also very impressed with the best drumming I have heard from SMTB thus far. Don't miss it.

Punk is really not dead you just don't know where to search it. Dog Whistle brings this original record to the house and is amazing.

The strangely Middle Eastern funk they cook up in between their typical lunges and surges, the totally tuneless vocals that end up sounding like some kind of flagellant hiphop and the general sense of bass-heavy groove that locates SMTB closer to Helmet than Fugazi. [May 2019, p.65]

There's an equally brutal, pulverising mix of guitars and electronics elsewhere, but they surprise more often than not. [Jun 2019, p.34]

When I listen to this, when it hits me when I’m living or trying to be with others, or trying to be with myself, or trying, it is all I need.
