    This was one of the first recordings in 2016. It would seem like all the cool kids are playing a Jazzmaster or Jaguar this year. Aidan Knight brought the Jazzmaster to Europe and Canada. With strong roots in the sound of Dan Mangan's Canadian revolution folks south of the border just haven't turned over enough rocks to have an appreciation of Aidan Knight's genius. Many other groups come to mind when listening. Sufjan Stevens and Dan Mangan use of horns, Other Lives, and the wonder keyboard work. This is by far in my top five recordings of 2016.
