Nov 27, 2010It's truely difficult to find a bad song in this fantastic album. Guster spent four years perfecting this album and it shows. Easy Wonderful is an absolutely "Wonderful" album.

Nov 20, 2010Its Guster and it is good, but I was likin' the more serious and layered Ganging up on the Sun. This sounds like a louder Lost and Gone and forever. Its a little to "Im hitting my mid 30's and I love my kids" dad music which I guess is where they are.

Nov 1, 2010On its best tracks, such as Architects + Engineers and Stay With Me Jesus, Guster do what they do best, giant choruses with interesting, catchy instrumental hooks. It's all very digestable, but the second half of the album sags a little in quality; nothing really pops, and the last track sounds confusingly like The Killers.

Jan 11, 2011With Easy Wonderful, Guster has attained that perfect pop rock sound, yet hasn't abandoned its roots as an acoustic trio.

Oct 22, 2010After 15 years of recording together, the members of Guster deliver their poppiest, most cohesive effort with Easy Wonderful.

The Tufts-bred pop rock quartet is still interested in layering varied instrumentation- banjos and synthesizers, warped electric guitars and clanging bells--to achieve different textures, Easy just feels a bit cleaner and less symphonically ambitious. But that doesn't mean it's less diverse.
