As comebacks go, Enterprising Sidewalks is a modest one.

Enterprising Sidewalks may not be the best album released on the label this year, or even Lorelei's best album for that matter, but if the band can continue this kind of determined progression, it leaves me with hope that both the band and the label will grow with each new release.

Enterprising Sidewalks is a multi-layered listen.

Even if it doesn't quite match the heights of Everyone Must Touch the Stove, Enterprising Sidewalks gestures towards the more obscure corners of the band's (and the label's) back catalog.
