    From start to finish, this record has the straight-ahead hardcore sound of Sick of It All combined with the sophisticated structure and guitar work of the best that the genre has to offer.

    I was excited to listen to this album since I've been a huge BDM fan every since Ryan Knight took the position of lead guitarist and churnedI was excited to listen to this album since I've been a huge BDM fan every since Ryan Knight took the position of lead guitarist and churned out amazing lead guitar on almost every track on Deflorate and Ritual. I was slightly disappointed that Everblack did not top Ritual in terms of the technicality and energy Deflorate had, and what Ritual completely mastered. Also this record would seem to fall short to its predecessor, I enjoyed the fact that the band has taken a different approach to their sound, taken the tried and true, in your face, blisteringly fast riffs and solos, and bringing it back a step to give us a more melodic, but darker sound. All in all the Everblack is unable to top Ritual, but the change in their sound gives us different aspects of the band that we can look forward to in the future.… Full Review »
