Jun 7, 2021A lot of DMX's posthumous album seems like a cashgrab, but there are a handful of tracks, mainly towards the end, that show the hard work put in at certain points.
FAV TRACK: Skyscrapers
LEAST FAV TRACK: Money Money Money -

Jun 1, 2021A total cash grab. This album sounds absolutely NOTHING like a DMX album. You mean to tell me X only does 2 hooks on a studio album?? This thing is a compilation album featuring DMX. What a terrible job Swizz did here.

May 30, 2021I really wished Kanye had produced this album because Swizz production is ass let’s just call it. I gotta say that the song with Bono is fire, Nas and Jay-z song , I can’t listen to that beat. Album is mid at best. Damn… DMX is one of my favorite rappers, makes me sad. The lack of verses they had , they could’ve done a greatest hits with some 2 or 3 bonus new tracks…. Fu Swizz

May 29, 2021Some tracks made me bop my head till my neck hurt. Some made my eyes burn as I fought back tears. Not a single track missed. What could've been a phenomenal comeback album instead becomes a bittersweet farewell to one of the best to ever do it. RIP DMX.

May 29, 2021Swizz’s producing resembles a little boy with his first soundboard/beat-pad thats loaded with DMX samples. One, maybe two tracks from this would make it on to a DMX Greatest Hits album. Everyone else reviewing just eats what they’re fed, I’m here to call it what it is, and thats trash.

May 29, 2021Great album, worthy of being played alongside his first 6 albums. Only issue is that he didn’t write an original prayer or I would have gave 10 stars.

Jun 3, 2021A solid collection, but the shadow cast over the project by DMX's death highlights some of the inconsistencies and adds a heaviness and sense of unfinishedness that's palpable throughout.

Jun 3, 2021While the boastful rapitty raps are par for the course for an artist of DMX’s tenure, he shines even brighter on the more broodingly beautiful “Walking In The Rain,” which features another appearance from Nas.

Jun 2, 2021Though Swizz did vary the sound of the production, the album’s overall sound could’ve benefitted from a P.K. or Dame Grease beat. “Exodus” isn’t DMX’s worst album, but for a comeback album, a now-posthumous one at that, it should’ve been better.
