This Album contains such a big support for the LGBTQ+ community and i can finally hear an artist who is not afraid to speak out on sexuality. This album has such a great modern pop feel amazing for a debut album the productions on the song are very 2018 but 70s in some songs bless Hayley.

This album is amazing! Shows the love between women in a natural and strong way, with a musical spectrum that makes you dance and cry listening to this, I love this album! Thanks, Hayley!

Kiyoko may be overshadowed by Kehlani in their standout collaboration, What I need, but the album is overall a great showcase of how Hayley feels; she does not hold her feelings back in the lyrics which greatly strengthens the album. Favourite tracks: Curious, What I need, He'll Never Love You (HNLY), Let It Be

Easily the best debut album in years. Both ballads&bops are great. I hope she blows up we need so much more lesbian rep out there in music & otherwise. I usually never get into new artists this fast but this is different. I love her.

Expectations surpasses any you might have had.

Expectations is an insistent but uneven album that points toward greater musical ambitions than it achieves. The sound is pleasantly aquatic and soft-edged but fussy and overwrought, as though its architects were worried that too much downtime might spur listeners to click away.

Staying true to idiosyncratic instinct has made Expectations feel more universal than a generic, play-it-safe debut. It might not be what you were expecting, but it’s just what your pop playlist needs.
