    Truly a classic. This CD is awesome. I love. It is soft and loud and I even hear something slightly reminiscent to the Chili Peppers. "Rich" and "No, No, No" are great songs. Every minute is good, and it is all around great.

    Yes! Yes! Yes! Excellent disc. First time I've ever kept hitting play again and again, no skips, over and over, all in one evening. Can't wait to see them live next month.

    a breath of fresh air. loud, sloppy, youthful and brilliant. this band was meant to happen. "Rich" "Date with the Night" "Tick" playful and raw. "Man" and "Maps" masterpieces. this is a young band. long live the Yeah Yeah Yeahs!

    This might be the most complete rock 'n' roll album ever recorded. It's an overused cliche but there actually are no bad songs on this record. It goes from strength to strength. Anyone who listens to 'Black Tongue' while driving and doesn't crash from overexcitement probably isn't human. 'Maps' might be the best song ever recorded, no fooling. If you don't own this then your life isn't complete.

    Their best album to date. A masterpiece. Ugh, I miss them so much, Maps stills beating in my heart. Karen O is a genius, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs needs to release new music soon.

    E! Online isn't for shit. "Fever to Tell" is, alongside the Libertines' "Up the Bracket," one of the most stunning debut albums of the year. "Black Tongue" and "Man" ooze with energy, but the real showstopper is closer "Modern Romance," all mournful lyrics and beautifully eerie backward guitars.

    I love the YYY's. i got there "Show Your Bones" album before this one, so it was big breath of freakish air from a band that sounds so much calmer on the usually slow, but nonetheless amazing "show Your Bones". It took 3 listens for me to get used to it, and i can'tsto listening to them! i recoment both there albums, and there EP's.

    The sound that Karen O is sometimes bigger than is still electric enough to escape the dreaded sophomore slump label. A lot of fun.

    The girl has a voice! Her shouts are very musical, a bit like Björk but in a style totally different. The music is almost perfect: very catchy despite the unusual style (in a commercial sense, 'course). Standout tracks: "Rich", "Date with the Night" (this one is like 11/10), "Tick" and "Y-Control".

    The Yeah Yeah Yeah's debut album is nothing short of astonishing. It mixes punk-rock with Karen O's beautiful vocals. The guitar riffs are catchy and the drum beats are amazing. The first three songs are great songs. And "Maps" is just a beautiful song. All In All, Fever To Tell is a great debut album. A-

    Upbove average album. Highly-original, and the lyrics symbolize the life of a modern woman. Not a fake image at all. Its what the rock is all about.

    i wasn't crazy about them, but my friend brought me to a concert of theirs and it was amazing. They are NOT a whitestripes knockoff. Maybe you have to see them live to appreciate them, but you can tell that there is something special here.

    An amazing effort, to often blinded by experiment. Fever to Tell opens strong with grungy pop-metal noise, and then fades into a yyy style ballad record. This would be beautiful, if not for the slight stumbling on the way. Tracks like "Man" and "No, No, No" get in the way, while being good at first and then quickly becoming monotonous and annoying.     Karen O and Co. created one of the most important albums of the decade with Fever To Tell. It wasn't until It's Blitz that they won me over. I love the energy of Fever To Tell, it has this raw, punk vibe. "Maps" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and "Y Control" was the template of where they'd go next.

    Good overall. It's got a handful of really cracking tunes on it, a couple of dreary numbers we could have done without and then it's got some tracks that have a lot of noise and a some screechy vocals that do nothing for me. Worth listening through for the highlights though which for me are Rich, Maps and Y Control
