  • Summary: This high-energy dance album from the Australian veteran includes the UK hit single "Can't Get You out of My Head." It is her first American release since 1988, although she has retained her popularity in Europe and her native Australia since the 1980's, updating her sound along the way.

  1. A perfect album of gorgeous dance music.
  2. Not one weak track, not one misplaced syrupy ballad to ruin the groove. The winning streak continues.

The sophistication of its upbeat electro-pop construction allows Kylie to fly while her contemporaries simply float. [Apr 2002, p.77]
  4. Fast, full of old-fashioned hooks and newfangled techno hiccups, campy as a tent full of Boy Scouts and yet easy on the cheese.
  5. An album that exudes both class and conviction, and it's a welcome breather from the avalanche of beautiful introspection that's come to characterise 2001.
  6. Featuring no less than 15 different songwriters, Fever is step-aerobic heaven, each song shiny, bouncy and as expertly arranged, if ultimately soulless, as one would expect from so many contributors.
  7. An astoundingly bland helping of hollow dance pop grooves and nauseating pleas for sex.

I'm a Kylie fan for so many years, and this is definitely her best album ever! Even the DVD of the fever-tour is amazing. I wish I could turn back time... Expand

Fever is one of the best pop/dance albums ever made, with fantastic up tempo and stylish songs like "CGYOOMH", "In your eyes", "love at first sight" and "Fragile". Collapse

Her comeback began with the underrated "Light Years", who was one of the best popalbums in 2000. After that succes comes Fever, which is just as good, maybe even better. You feel the atmosphere of being in a nightclub wearing high heel pumps. It is a 'glad to be female' album... Highligts are "Love at first sight", "CGYOMH", "Fever", "Fragile" and "Your Love". Expand

An excellent return to form as Kylie pops into the 21st century with a fresh face. This album will probably be considered the epitome of her career, fun/fast and amazing. Expand

This is a surprisingly good pop album. I was shocked to hear it wasn't loaded with filler. It maintains a high quality throughout. Make your girlfriend happy and listen to this with her. Expand
