    The album isn’t flawless, but it’s certainly better than many would expect from a girl her age. Fire Within is actually better than a lot of music that people far older and “wiser” are putting out.

    A nice album to hear when you want to relax. It is Birdys second album. Her style is indie pop or indie folk. Unlike her first album which hadA nice album to hear when you want to relax. It is Birdys second album. Her style is indie pop or indie folk. Unlike her first album which had many covers this has mostly original songs. It has a good variety of songs with thoughtful lyrics. Like I say I hear it while relaxing so this is nothing for you if you want something powerful to hype you up. My favorite songs are “Wings”, Words as Weapons “Maybe” and “Standing in the way of Light”. The only, but not for me, negative point is that from a point of style there is not enough variety here. While I disagree with this in general I will accept that this is a valid argument for some people. Overall a nice album I hear once in a while.… Expand
