This album is slightly different from "No mythologies to follow". We can observe how she's been making progress over the years developing herself in order to find her own identity. I was a little bit mixed about her last few songs before the album released but when it came out i was shocked and delighted. I can't stop listening to it. It definitely live up to my expectations. Awesome album and worth the wait! These new different sounds from her album are just a world apart from her last EP and her debut and I really love how the songs are headed into a concept like magical and nostalgic which is so appealing to me since I've been a fan of her for when she started around the music business. Recommended!

This album is a gem. Forget NMTF. This shows that Mø is a true artist, not afraid to do something different. I think this album deserves everything good. Love all of it, Red Wine, Mercy, Blur top tracks
This woman is truly talented in every way. Mø Thank you.

Not even a single song is worth there. MØ has lots of talent and this album lacks it completely. Another great artist falling into generic, shallow music. All the good reviews probably comes from fans that can’t admt that this is a more boring version of Katy Perry’s Witness.

created an account just to show my major disappointment with this album. after a great album and half a good ep, she releases something that sounds like chainsmokers/major lazer leftovers.

The new record from MØ is obviously inspired by a lot of fellow-pop ladies, such as Lykke Li, Sia, and Tove Lo. It is heavily and beautifully produced, even though some beat-breakdowns feel forced and out of place here and there. MØ's vocals are raw and unfiltered, sending a feel of authenticity throughout the whole project.

It is heavily and beautifully produced, even though some beat-breakdowns feel forced and out of place here and there. MØ's vocals are raw and unfiltered, sending a feel of authenticity throughout the whole project.

As stated before, the productions are original and grand: for instance, the usage of a vocoder for the build-up in songs such as 'Blur' and 'Beautiful Wreck' give the songs a feel of vulnerability. 'If It's Over' is catchy, and feels like a sequel to the previous MØ-XCX collab 'Porsche' on Pop 2. 'Nostalgia' is a bold step forward, and the verses are basically just told, instead of being sung, which is reminiscent of songs such as 'Timebomb' by Tove Lo. Other songs are just so full of energy and make you wanna get up and dance ('I Want You' is a true banger).

However, at a certain point, the album starts to feel repetitive and, somewhat, tiresome. 'Red Wine' being placed towards the end of the record, feels like some of the songs that precede it were put in a blender and mashed together. Maybe tracks like 'Imaginary Friend' and 'Trying to be Good' are quite interesting, but the listener is kinda bored at that point to even focus on them.

All in all, "Forever Neverland" might not be the most timeless pop record of the year, but it definitely does its job and is a very enjoyable listen, even if it's mostly for its first half.

MØ is an artist I want to like, and she does have some pretty good songs, but for some reason there's something about so much of her music that's rather unsatisfying, and this album is a perfect example. Most of it is at least decent, but it seems a bit too generic and lazily written to really be memorable. I also feel like there should be more variation in her vocals. I think MØ has a unique and expressive voice, but every song sounds whiny and strained, regardless of what she's singing about, and it just gets kind of annoying after a while.

Forever isn't a huge creative leap forward, but at its best--particularly on dancefloor-friendly laments such as Beautiful Wreck--there are moments that hint at brilliance. [Nov 2018, p.109]

Forever Neverland is an illustration of how modern pop should be--full of character, colourful and 14 tracks full of pop hit after hit.

Forever Neverland contains enough catchy moments to warrant a listen, but mostly remains fodder for de rigueur 2010s alt-pop playlists.
