Feb 1, 2020Interesting feature choices. Great album to start the year. Piano Trap beat switch so good
-
Feb 4, 2020I listened to the Carter 3 on purpose before listening to this. It’s on par. People are spoiled. This is better than any young artist out right now! Better than Eminem latest effort also, and that’s also good.

Feb 3, 2020Weezy continues his legendary run with this 24 track album. Top shelf production & features, Wayne delivers his distinct flow & lyricism rap fans have comes to expect after decades in the game.

Feb 3, 2020Mixtape weezy on an album. Modern production. Bars on Bars. Something on here for everyone. What's not to love.
-
Feb 3, 2020Mama Mia, Piano trap part 2 and mahogany are bar heavy, has amazing intro and dope trap songs like Ball Hard

Feb 4, 2020Its been a few years since Tha Carter V's release and this album was surprisingly really good follow-up to that. It just goes to show that Weezy still strong in the game!!
-
Mar 7, 2020This album is good and definitely not one of Wayne's best but its still good. The production is amazing and the feature are good.
-
Feb 17, 2020The Delivery flow in this Album is amazing first 12 track without chorus he clearly has done it

Aug 12, 2021Great album. One of the better albums from 2020. Great album to start 2020. Piano Trap beat switch so good. lots of replay value
-
Feb 1, 2020Great album filled with bangers. Great body of work. A few skips tho. Welcome to the funeral
-

Feb 2, 2020Great album, weezy is best rapper alive. Fav tracks; Mahogany, I do it, Dreams, Piano trip
-
Feb 1, 2020Outside of about 4 tracks and some production this is a solid album. Wayne’s rapping on this is sharp as it has been since No Ceilings in 2009.
-
Feb 1, 2020I think it's album of the year. New Weezy + Mixtape Weezy = Fire. Welcome to the funeral.
-
Feb 3, 2020The album also gives a reflection of hip hop, whether you're looking for beats or hard-hitting bars, the flow or the message in the lines, old school or new school, the album combines those elements and it gives life. This album is for everybody

Feb 1, 2020Would have been nice to see some better features. Great body of work overall.
-
Feb 1, 2020Amazing! Lil Wayne this best rapper Alive! Funeral is best álbum of the year.
-
Feb 1, 2020Mid album tbh. I liked the Carter V more but maybe I’m the only one......

-
Feb 1, 2020it's just about okay. album starts out strong but loses focus on the middle. he could have picked better beats. the album could have been 4-5 tracks shorter too.

Feb 1, 2020This album is a letdown in every conceivable way. I honestly can’t believe lil Wayne thought this was an acceptable album. Yikes.

Feb 4, 2020Two good songs. Not mucher after that. Track after track of the exact same song
-
Feb 5, 2020Actually had high expectations for this album but it was really underwhelming. Wayne's use of autotune is horrible and it feels like he's drowning throughout the whole album.
-
Jan 31, 2020not so good man. expected much more. lil wayne your next album better be good.
-
Apr 26, 2022Great album all around. Would like to see what Lil Wayne puts out in the future.
-
Apr 14, 2020I was disappointed by this album. I don't know if Lil Wayne's working with different producers or what but the beats seemed kinda stale. Lil Wayne's rapping and lyrics aren’t at their best here either. Clap for Em and I Do It are the stand out tracks.
-
Feb 27, 2020As i am listening to this album, the general feel is that i am not listening to an album at all, since it does not bring anything more than medium and repetitive production and exaggerated lyrics like he does not find any motive to rap anymore, and on top of it all, we have 24 tracks , and sometimes half of songs actually. So i can't give more then a 5.
-
May 29, 2020Lil Wayne isn't showing any reason to continue on. Funeral sounds like a whisper in his grave.
-
Feb 9, 2020In dire need of a good editor above all else, the consistently high energy level and strong flows on display rightfully deserve commendation, but a failure to justify the mammoth 25-track length of "Funeral" by the end leads to tedium setting in after only about 10.
Choice Cuts: "Mahogany", "I Do It (feat. Big Sean and Lil Baby)", "Dreams" -
Feb 9, 2020There's a lot to appreciate here but a lot more that I just want to turn off. Wayne's dark experimental overtones get downplayed by these utterly useless background tracks that chalk up the run time to an unbearable hour and 16 minutes. Generic and feigning actual emotion, this newest album falls about as flat as everyone expected.
-
Mar 19, 2020The strongest tracks remain standouts long after the first listen, while there is an abundance of filler present (primarily in the middle of the album). "Mahogany", "Mama Mia", and "Bing James" in particular demonstrate Wayne's ability to craft distinct and engrossing flows with impressive rhymes. While the entire album lacks the quality of the standout tracks, Funeral remains a strong album.
-
Aug 28, 2020With all the new fad rappers coming out, everyone overlooks and underappreciates lil waynes talent and skill. He is always fire and this album is no different!

Mar 16, 2020Cobbled together in the style of a compilation rather than a cohesive album, it's a wonky, slightly disappointing collection that provides diamonds and duds in equal measure.
-
Feb 19, 2020Whether or not listeners make it through all 24 tracks on Funeral, it’s easy to see what Wayne is definitely in his own world. His rhyming remains unlike anyone else in the entire genre and despite this album not being his strongest, you don’t have to go far to find a Wayne quotable that inherently makes one admire his seasoned lyrical dexterity.

Feb 11, 2020Wayne, much like in his mixtape days, is finally having fun again. And when he does that, the results are captivating.
