A low-rent version of the Streets without Mike Skinner's wit, they're just a couple of palookas mouthing off in the pub. [Nov 2005, p.131]
  2. For a genre that once sounded astonishingly futuristic, it is quite remarkable how tired and old house sounds now.
  3. Generation betrays Audio Bullys' aspirations to say Something Important, undeterred by the absence of either insight or eloquence.
  4. Because most of the time they choose attitude over melody or innovation, Generation slips into would-have, could-have territory.
  5. Generation is a sonic mess, all weightless synth swish, dull beats, and maybe-ironic midi horns.
