Feb 11, 2018Susanna always delivers. Not always with content, as this is a covers record, but with mood. A fun trip through great choices covered, soaked in her usual ambiance. Not for everyone, but if you're a fan... and don't mind non-original tracks, this album does suffice.

Feb 12, 2018When Wallumrød emerges from the long shadows of her source material, elevate Go Dig My Grave beyond the beautifully rendered, if rather pointless, collection of covers it sometimes threatens to be.

Feb 9, 2018Go Dig My Grave might not hit the heights of some of her earlier albums, and is certainly a more uneven collection, but it shows Susanna to still be fascinated by the power of sad songs and in possession of a distinctive, singular ability of re-presenting them.
