Mar 23, 2023This is a great album that showcases Rihanna how she matured into a good girls going bad. This album has fun and dancing classics.
-
Oct 14, 2022ty for this masterpiece rihanna! she stabilized on industry with this album.
-
Aug 24, 2022An admirable debut. Inoffensive 00's pop that would Kickstart a cultural juggernaut into the stratosphere.
Higlights:take a bow,disturbia,umbrella -

Nov 15, 2021«Good Girl Gone Bad» never settles on a sound, and Rihanna vacillates between aping Gretchen Wilson, Ashanti, Gwen Stefani, and Pink. Nonetheless, she often sounds every bit like the superstar she clearly intends to be. Rihanna works with edgier and wittier verse than on her two previous albums but lyrics are once again an Achilles high heel for her.
-
May 8, 2021This is where everything started ;) Definetly better than her first 2 albums. There are some nice dance tracks and also R&B tracks with an acoustic guitar. My favorites are Umbrella, Don't Stop The Music and Question Existing.
-
Apr 20, 2021This was Rihanna's first big era WITH A REASON. All songs are bops and we all know she served

Aug 14, 2020Por más que este álbum sea el que catapultó a Rihanna a la fama mundial, es el que menos me gusta, saquen a Umbrella del disco y el resto es completamente olvidable
-
Jul 23, 2020Easily one of Rihanna's best albums and the one that propelled her to stardom. she can do no wrong with hits like Umbrella Don't stop the music and later in the reloaded version Disturbia and Take a Bow.

Jun 3, 2020The lyrics are ok ,but there's some songs just boring and others very good like umbrella ,it takes Rihanna to a pop star level ,it has a interesting rhythm
-
Jun 2, 2020Este é o exato momento em que conhecemos a essência da Rihanna e ela consegue se consagrar como uma das principais vozes da geração. Boas letras, batidas, boa voz e muita energia. Orgulho.
-
May 29, 2020I can't stress this enough.... but this album is the "Thriller" of our generation!
-
May 29, 2020¿Como puede ser que este álbum tenga la mitad de reseñas mixtas? Rihanna tenía 18-19 años cuando lanzó este gran trabajo lleno de Smash Hits y baladas hermosas
How can this album have half mixed reviews? Rihanna was 18-19 when she released this great work full of Smash Hits and beautiful ballads -

Feb 17, 2020To everyone who only knows the album for themselves of hits, because the girl and stuffed with hits. The album becomes an opening of a perfect style, she knows how to use this in her voice and that has potential. In a better quality its sound is a perfection and its cohesive songs in a better sphere of music.
-
Jan 11, 2020from the best albums that Rihanna made in her career, Umbrella, Don't stop the music, Disturbia, Take a Bow, Good Girl Gone Bad, Hate that I Love You are golden songs in this album. and the other songs are too good. shut and drive. sell me a candy, lemme get that, breakin dishes and more..

Jan 13, 2019Fantastic album, so many great songs and solid single choices. Her first two albums are nowhere near to being as great as this, and this album was definitely her peak! From 'Umbrella' to 'Disturbia' and some amazing album tracks such as the title song, it's a near-flawless album.
-
Sep 14, 2018Perfect! This album definitely outdid all of my expectations. Rihanna is fantastic.
-
Aug 14, 2018With so many different styles on it, this is album is such amazing, each one was made in so good ways.
-
Apr 8, 2018mejor que sus anteriores trabajos, pero aun asi me esperaba mas de el album
-
Sep 1, 2017This was literally the album that got everyone talking Rihanna. The album is full of hits. Umbrella, Disturbia, Don't Stop the Music to name a few. Absolute classic
-
Aug 8, 2017The best Pop-R&B album of 2000s and one of the best this century. I'm not talking about quality, song-writing or her voice...it all really doesn't matter when album have this amount of hits. This album is just legendary.

Nov 21, 2016Its classic now! A pop party album! Umbrella is her best song until 2013 and noone of her other hits make this noise, way better that her previous records!!. "Don't Stop The Music" and "Sell Me Candy" are outstanding!!.

Aug 30, 2016One of the worst albums of the year thus far. It shows absolutely no artistic growth, the lyrics are elementary, and the vocals are non-existent. All in all, a terrible album. Collapse
-
Aug 30, 2016Wow, Im shocked at these reviews, Not too shocked because Critics Overrate & Underrate thing all the time. Poor Rihanna, She thought she could pull off another Bâ Collapse
-
Jun 15, 2016Rihanna has transitioned from an innocent girl persona to a more sexual figure. With the EDM beats and a solid production, Rihanna has completely revamped her style, and it works. While a few songs can get a bit tiresome, as a whole this album has elevated Rihanna to make her one of the most well-known stars of the world and is a successful effort. Who doesn't love "Umbrella"!?
-
May 29, 2016Bland. Good pop songs, but bland. Only outstanding track is Question Existing. Even though Rihanna in R&B is great, we can say she is not exploring it at her best. But, thats okay, we have Rehab and Hate That I Love You that are good traditional rnb songs.

Apr 27, 2016Good Girl Gone Bad is full of hits. She took a risc with this album, and it works out really well. Lots of catchy (Don't Stop The Music), badass (Breakin' Dishes, Shut Up and Drive) and iconic (Umbrella) songs

May 22, 2015Super-star Rihanna stuns me crazily with this album full of great sound. "Take A Bow", "Shut Up and Drive", "Don't Stop the Music", "Disturbia", "Hate That I Love You", and "Te Amo" are well-produced.

Apr 5, 2015I remember dancing Breakin' Dishes in all good parties, I think is her best single, constant good rhythm, and incredibly catchy, don't know well what are the rests of the songs of this album so note is just for that amazing single.

Oct 19, 2014Very predictable I knew in the begining it was her. I knew every step of the movie. NO surprises here. It could have been good with bettter writers. A movie does not take good to make millions. What a joke. I almost fell asleep in the beginning, and the scene where she was robbed was stupid.

Nov 28, 2013A 45 year-old, white gay man, passionate about music, just becoming even more passionate with Rhapsody and discovering so many recent cd's, for free, with subscription, and I have to say, I am sorry i did not buy this cd when it came out so amazing dance, fun, rock on shut up and drive, etc. I love Rihanna's originality and her courage to be herself, such a wonderful, passionate cd and artist!

Aug 15, 2013"Good Girl Gone Bad" is the best Rihanna CD yet. It has the perfect mix of ballads and uptempo songs. My favorites are "Breakin' Dishes", "Good Girl Gone Bad", "Disturbia", and "Hard".

May 31, 2012Really Good Pop Music!
-
Mar 17, 2012To be honest, I would've given this album a minimum of a 6-7 rating if it weren't for the lyrics' repetitive production or lazy sleaziness. However, I find the beats perfect for a celebratory moment. But an excellent party album would be something like ABBA, The Beatles, or Disney labels; well, in my opinion anyways.
-
Nov 21, 2011Overproduced, no relatable lyrics, poor voice... this is Rihanna's music. You won't miss much if you decide to skip this album, or her discography for that matter.
-
Nov 18, 2011I like Rihanna, but with the exception of 5 songs, I don't really like this album. It's a decent pop record, but the sings have no substance. After a few listens I feel bored. However I will say that this album made me become a fan when it was first released.
-
Jul 22, 2011This album is mostly flawless from start to finish. Songs like "Question Existing", "Good Girl Gone Bad", "Sell Me Candy", "Lemme Get Dat", and a few others despratly need taken off this album. Highlights include "Hate Myself For Loving You", "Umbrella", "Push Up On Me", "Breakin' Dishes", "Shut Up And Drive", "Rehab", "If I Never See Your Face Again", "Disturbia", "Take A Bow"!
-
May 26, 2011A great pop album, her best along with Rated R. Her vocals are nothing special (she isn't that talented anyway) but the production of most tracks is very good.
-
Nov 19, 2010Easily her best album to date, this album has secured Rihanna in Pop's A-List. This album is pop nirvana. With collaborations to the minimum, it gives Rihanna more time to show off what she's learned since her mediocre first two releases.
-
Aug 18, 2010The best album of 2007 and 2008! Awesome songs, "Umbrella", "Don't Stop the Music", "Take a Bow" and "Disturbia". Rihanna bet strong in this production, and the result was a very powerful disk, her best so far. I'm sure that the successor of Rated R will be like this, or even better!
-
kylekyleJul 15, 2008Seriously, this is one of the best, if not the best album of 2007. All but two of the songs of this album are great, catchy songs, worthy on anybody's portable music player!!! Rihanna really knows how to make a good album. Even the slower songs like "Lemme Get That", "Rehab", and "Good Girl Gone Bad", she still seems to make interesting and entertaining!!

KirbyJul 14, 2007The best album of this summer. I haven't had this much fun listening to music in quite sometime. So many cool, energetic songs from start to finish. Sell Me Candy has the potential to be the anthem of the summer. Buy this album, trust me you won't regret it.

BlakeDJul 9, 2007By far the coolest album I've heard this summer. It's just so goddamn catchy, energetic, wild, edgy and addictive, just the way I like it. Rihanna has truly progressed tremendously both as a singer and song-writer, and she looks good doing it. Beyonce move over...the real star of R&B is right here. The best R&B album of this year, no contest.
-
-
JohnS.Jul 8, 2007Aren't people tired of listening to the same over produced, emotionally & vocally void tripe masquerading as 'music'. Rihanna has constantly brought nothing new to the table and reconfirms my believe that new music these days is not even worth the listen!
-
-
TJun 23, 2007I'm really not a fan of most pop music, but the album is quite good, although very calculated. Almost any of the songs except for 1 or 2 could be singles. Rihanna has found her niche, and she is best suited for dance-type tracks rather than ballads such as "Unfaithful". This will be one of the better R&B albums of the year.

nancym.Jun 21, 2007This is easily Rihanna's high point thus far in her freakishly sucessful career. The ablum is well-rounded with infectious beats and in-your-face lyrics. 3 top tracks: 1 umbrella, 2 shut up and drive, 3 breakin' dishes

FatimaIJun 10, 2007I think people are afraid to give Rihanna the credit she deserves. This is surprisingly a great album, made even more impressive when you realize how far she has come in 2 years. Umbrella, Breakin' Dishes, and Sell Me Candy are my songs for the summer. Whatever critics may think.
