Mar 28, 2012The sophomore effort from the trio took 2 or 3 listens before i completely "got it", having said that, this album may not have the stand outs of the first album, but has some beautifully written and produced music. Songs like the wave, black tin box, and paddling out show the amount of creativity this trio has in store.

Mar 31, 2012Happy to you is a very disappointing effort. As much as their first album was fresh, happy, fun and inspired, this second record is dull, formulaic, lacking any energy or charm, also all the song sound exactly the same. It is certainly not worth one listen through even less several.

Jun 25, 2012A more subdued release, Happy To You is nonetheless quite mesmerizing in its methodical and complex layers of music.

Q MagazineApr 25, 2012The songs here are supremely catchy and delivered with the kind of sleek sheen you'd expect from a Katy Perry or Kesha record, but it's the inventive instrumentation and surprising twists they take that give Happy To You its edge. [May 2012, p.104]

Apr 16, 2012While Happy to You is certainly an entertaining pop album, it very much falls in line with its predecessor by showing great melodic promise and musical creativity getting weighed down by a mouthpiece who sounds like he has something better to do with his time even when he's singing his own lyrics.
