    Their return is certainly great news to the diehards out there. For everyone else, at least the bar hasn’t been set too high for the follow up.

    Hotel Valentine is a fine addition to the limited canon of colorful post-punk all-girl trip-hop records, but can’t avoid sounding like the relic that label implies.
  4. Taken as a whole, Hotel Valentine creates a trip of a disc, referencing the ghosts of old New York while exorcising them into something new.

    This album is just amazing! It takes the best worlds of "Viva La Woman" and "Stereotype A" and puts a new funky twist on it. Cibo Matto is atThis album is just amazing! Cibo Matto is at least in my top five bands, and after the disappointing "Uncanny Valley", it gives me hope for more of my favorite "retired" bands to get back into the studio and make more great music!
