This is a nearly perfect album blending the edgy brilliance of Kate Crutchfield, frankly one of best songwriters alive, with the smooth, waltzy more traditional country of Jess Williamson. Their respective song contributions balance each other in the same way their harmonies flow: effortlessly and eternally pleasing. A gem of an album.

As fine as the instrumental playing is here, Crutchfield and Williamson singing together creates magic.

Crutchfield and Williamson pack a lot in a short time through their inventive songwriting and expressive voices. The two singer-songwriters often stun the listener with their poetic directness.

Crutchfield's distinctive, smoky voice couldn't be more different from Williamson's softer one, yet the way they melt together on the choruses you'd swear it was fated. [Dec 2022, p.35]
