Not his best. The songs are just not good and most of them are filler material. Not the best May 20th release. Not at all. Kind of disappointed. Go listen to Dangerous Woman if you want good music.

Sound like a autotuned trash, can someone please make blake shelton delet this? Country music has been destroyed because albums like this are "cool" now

Pop Country clichéd divorce album - seems like formulated fluff. Expected more substance.

If I’m Honest starts with a barnburner about lacking suds (“Straight Outta Cold Beer”) and ends with a call to Jesus (“Savior’s Shadow”). It’s a trajectory seemingly dictated by Country Albums For Dummies.

The default setting is polished professionalism; rawness actually takes time. And here Shelton seldom pushes beyond that finesse to reach something less smooth. Which doesn’t mean If I’m Honest isn’t pleasure.

Like Bringing Back the Sunshine before it, If I'm Honest is at its core a balladeer's record, and Shelton pulls off these romance tunes with a sly, masculine grace that complements the album's sleek modern surfaces.
