the Welsh singer and producer's new album "inner song" is a collection of atmospheric, minimal and sometimes blissful electronica that broadcasts the images of free-flowing subconsciousness, containing themes of nature, love and loss. When blended together, it is an imaginative and stunning work of art.

This electronica album combines "digital" sounds perfectly with that sweet female voice. It makes for a calming and relaxing experience, one of the best electronica albums in my library, I highly recommend it. It is almost perfect.

Inner Song's highs are very high. Beyond the bang-on production, the LP feels like as much of a journey for the listener as it does the protagonist.

Equal parts sumptuous and subdued, it’s an album that flows seamlessly and possesses an elegant poise at its very essence.

For Owens, loops—both electronic and lyrical—are a grounding presence, like a chant uttered in a meditative state: a simple phrase or pattern that functions as a conduit to another world. With Inner Song, Owens seeks to take the listener to a place of healing, finding solace in the shelter of a repeated chord progression.
