    The Issa Album didn´t live up to the hype. To be fair the expectations were incredibly high for 21 Savage. Around 6 good tracks, the best being Bank Account

    issa album is a 'meh' album has some good songs but not many. highlights are famous bank account close my eyes and numb but that where its stops listen too it if your if your a savage fan but if your new dont start with this. it had potential but in the end this was not savage. 6/10

    I'm sorry but this is trash.

    1. The backings are so boring, the music composer needs to be fired for the simple reason that every single track sounds the same. I had the album on play and i didn't know when the songs were changing, that's how similar everything sounds. 2. The hooks are just the same thing over and over again. Dead people, bank account, numb, these are just three    I'm sorry but this is trash.

Dead people, bank account, numb, these are just three examples i've looked at where the chorus is just the same thing over and over again. You have 3 short minutes so make the most of it. Unless you're just not creative enough to write up a decent rap even though you're a rap 'Artist' then you should just repeat the same thing over an over ontop of a stale beat.

    3. What is this guy even talking about half the time? This album is way too cliche which just speaks words about how bad this guy is at being a rapper. Every single track i swear is about gang violence, women or money. Is that all you think about?

    4. His monotone voice. take kanye for example, he'll have his soft, vocoder moments but the tracks build or he gets aggressive with his music. This guy, oh man this guy just has one voice and 3 pitches dictated by the autotune.

    So yeah, I've really enjoyed this album. It's not the best hip hop album of the century, but yeah... "Issa Album", 21 Savage's debut studio album is something, that has shown, that Shayaa is not only a mumble rapper; he can rap well and even sings decently. It's 8/10 for this one (for me), period.     Hey, what the **** does the public see in this guy?! He's bland, has no flow, and sounds like he needs 15 years of sleep!! Also, you called your album "Issa"!? Seriously!? He named it after a freaking meme that he started!!! A couple tracks are tolerable, tho, which is better then some. 2/10

    the beats, the beats, on his last few projects 21 had sleepy, simple, cold trap beats but here that's gone and we're left with nearly all the melodies in the very back of the mix. 21 clearly doesn't care about what he is working on i say that because of his sleepy, dry delivery that runs through this album. on his previous records yeah he used this voice but there was an element of a cold, dark grit that he doesn't have anymore. before he sounded like a coldblooded killer that no matter the topic didn't excite him in any way. now he sounds like he's not even trying. i give this a strong to to a light 3

    I thought Savage Mode was terrible. Even the beats were lame. One of the worst albums this year. Shouldn't have been released. Boring lyrics, makes me wanna sleep.

    It's just soo good, even tho the lyrics ain't the best, the beats and 21 vocals are just mindblowing, i didnt find it boring like some people may do, think it's pretty good and the only bad track is "Face time" which is trash

    It's sad when a mixtape with one producer is better than your album...He recently admitted he doesn't care about rap as an art form he only cares about the money. Savage Mode was a really good project but this is a large drop off from Savage Mode.

And while lyrics on here are decent, it's his flow that still makes this album sound boring and dull. In conclusion, 21 Savage's 'Issa Album' is a baby step into the right direction.… Expand

    Seems like 21 savage is trying to make something that will appeal to his largest demographic in this one. The lyrics and bars are also pretty weak on this album. Savage tries to make emotional and passionate lyrics that fail and are way outside of his signature dark and violent style. A pretty average and underwhelming album in general.

    This album is very boring. I just want to sleep when I hear his voice and the mumbling. I think I almost passed out of boredom from just listening to him sleep of very expensive sounding instrumentals.

    I really like it. Beats are good. Their are bangers like bank accout, whole lot, famous, thug life. Amazing flow. It shows some lyrical talent form 21 with tracks like Nothin new, whole lot, famous. Only bad thing is that is can get boring.
