    This album is a masterpiece, definition of masterpiece actually.
    My favourite Maroon 5 album, there isn't a single song that I don't like, even on the deluxe version.
    This album introduced me to Maroon 5, it was the first album I listened to as whole, and I wasn't dissapointed. Thank you guys for such a masterpiece

    Although not as great as their debut, Maroon 5 crafts some great songs on their sophomore album.

    Incredible album, not as good as Hands All Over and Songs About Jane, but it still deserves a 10. I really wish they will come back to this kind of music, I'm not a fan of their current stuff. My favourites are Won't go home without you, Wake up call and Back at your door (If I never see your face again with Rihanna is incredible too though).

    Maroon 5’s sophomore album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, is a fantastic one. It contains some really amazing songs, the first 6 of them especially, and is a great representation of Maroon 5’s success when they were still a rock band instead of the pop band that they are now. There really aren’t any bad songs in Long, the only possible one being Kiwi, which was a little strange. Besides that, I have no complaints against this album. I really liked how Maroon 5 blended rock with elements of funk, it’s a really unique combination and I love both genres, but fans of either will really like It Won’t Be Soon Before Long.! I would highly recommend Long. Highlights: If I Never See Your Face Again, Makes Me Wonder, Little Of Your Time, Wake Up Call, Won’t Go Home Without You, Nothing Lasts Forever, and Goodnight Goodnight.    … Expand

    This album is awesome!!!!!

    It starts you off in a good mood with the first 4 tracks and with some awesome pop rock music and Adam sounds great there too !!!!

    The Music is catchy and fun!! A really great album

    There are no real standout tracks, just some pretty good ones. Overproduced at times, and Adam levine just sounds so whiny at times. Lost the funk and soul for more pop rock, which means they don't even get points for style/personality,

    A great album.Maroon 5 is my favorite pop rock band.Their songs are catchy and really good to listen, They a different style of making a good music.Some people say it is annoying but for me I don't really care about it due to the fact that I love Maroon 5 but I really much prefer to the old Maroon 5 but they try something new every song they make whether is catchy or just annoying.

    I'll admit that I was a little disappointed in It Won't Be Soon Before Long when I first purchased it a few months back but it eventually grew on me and now I really like it. While it doesn't compare to Songs About Jane, it still provides you with the same kinda of catchy, tightly produced, lyrically clever songs that display the emotions captured with it. My best advice to you is to notI'll admit that I was a little disappointed in It Won't Be Soon Before Long when I first purchased it a few months back but it eventually grew on me and now I really like it. While it doesn't compare to Songs About Jane, it still provides you with the same kinda of catchy, tightly produced, lyrically clever songs that display the emotions captured with it.     One of the best pop albums I think I've ever heard. I don't know how much that's saying, but whatever. Levine's vocals are fantastic, and the instrumentation is properly simple, rough, and right in your face... or... ears, I mean.

Adam Levine is a great singer and also writes really good lyrics. He sings of having sex and walking in on his girlfriend having sex with another man and him killing the man.     The musical talent the band showed in Songs About Jane is gone here. This album is generic mainstream pop, slightly catchy at best and plain annoying at its worst. Ehh.

    the music's lukewarm, that I can stand. but I can't stand the lyrics.it's official now that Adam Levine has gone as a lust-maniac.apparently he can't write songs if he hadn't broke up with girls or had laid them.

    I loved the fist Albumb Songs about Jane but I hate there new stuff it sounds like every other premiered band featured on MTV for one month.

    This is one of the best albums of 2007, i agree completely with the poster below me that the only mistep is kiwi, and can't stop as well i think lol. Don't even get me started on the "BONUS TRACK" infatuation which is in fact better than 90% of rock music out right now. This is an album that ANY maroon 5 or ANY fan of popular music will enjoy. the lyrics are so well composed and "sing alongable" it wouldn't be a stretch to call it the karaoke album of 2007 as well. In summation, don't believe the haters saying this album sucks, it is well worth the 15 bucks it costs after listening to this, i can understand why it took them so long to release a sophmore album. With quality like this who can blame them!… Expand

    I don't know what you people are talking about.this album is a 10 out of ten.It's a pure dance mood album.It's way more mature than Songs about Jane and shows absolute voacl prowess.The one mistep is Kiwi,but the rest of the songs (Goodnight Goodnight with the slight Kryptonite guitar at the start),like Wakeup Call,are instant classics for radio.

I do like "Makes Me Wonder", "Wake Up Call" and "Goodnight Goodnight". Passed those three tracks, nothing more caught my attention. I expected more from M5 and I am sure they will recover. Or were you disappointed like I was? Or better yet, were you unimpressed but felt 'disloyal' by not being so in love with it initially, that now you are telling yourself it's a great album just to make Middle of the road album...will NOT stand alone in the test of time. Songs of Jane WILL. Most Maroon 5 fans, TRUE fans, be honest....were you truly impressed at first listen? Or were you disappointed like I was? Or better yet, were you unimpressed but felt 'disloyal' by not being so in love with it initially, that now you are telling yourself it's a great album just to make yourself feel better about it? I will say the album grows on you.....but so does fungus if left untreated. I'm not impressed, it's NOT polished, sounds pressured (like most sophomore albums do), and a waste of 10-15 bucks. Save your money and download tracks #5, #11, and #12. These are clearly the best tracks on the CD. #4 gets an honorable mention - if you can tolerate the first 30-40 WEAK seconds of the song (i.e. good chorus). Be honest with yourself, you know this is not as good as their first CD. Songs 3 and 7 (can you say OUTKAST). Did 'The Police" allow them to use their sound? Can you take the Stevie Wonder accolades a little too far? YES. YES. YES. The drummer did the right thing by leaving the band. Creative differences? You betcha....the drummer must've been the creative musician in this group. PLEASE don't get me started on how significantly the drum tracks on this CD were 'dumbed down' for mainstream pop. All in all, VERY disappointing. A few good tunes, not really much to offer, unless of course, you want to relive the 70's/80's pop songs. This has been done before.     Like the critics above said, if the cd could be in the style of "Makes Me Wonder", we'd have a hit on our hands. However, this one kind of falls flat on the slower songs and the lyrics.

    This album is the best I have ever heard along side the songs about Jane album. I have never heard such a unique singing voice like Adam's! I love how when he sings live it's sounds soo much like the cd. I was waiting forever for them to make this second album and I hope that in the near future there will be a third!     It's not as good as the first one but it's still up there. I like their new sound and all of the songs are awesome. The cd was worth my money.

    If some of the ballads aren't as distinguished as the livelier tracks, they nevertheless are as sharply crafted as the rest, and the end result is that It Won't Be Soon Before Long is that rare self-stylized blockbuster album that sounds as big and satisfying as was intended.

    There's not a lot to fall deeply in love with here, but Levine and crew understand the importance of packing as much thrill as possible into each tryst, leaving you with mostly good feelings and no lasting emotional scars.
