ChelseaDJul 9, 2005Cokemachineglow sum up Kasabian perfectly, their debut album is nothing we haven't heard before. They sound like Primal Scream if Primal Scream sucked.

JoeSMar 11, 2005at first i really liked this album, but it wears away, and the lyrics arent overly imaginative, still worth a lisen though

yrkSep 6, 2005This is regurgitated early 90's alt brit rock, and while I still listen to the early 90's stuff, this crap just seems like a blatant rip off, and tries hiding it behind their claim of electronic rock. BS. This has been done already decades ago, and way better. Sorry Kasabian. Your almost two decades late.

Sure this album may well sound awesome if you’ve just snorted a metre of charlie or recently breakfasted from a menu of ‘shrooms and LSD, but for sober ears it’s enough to drive anyone to drugs.

This is how the Stone Roses' Second Coming could have - should have - sounded.
