Absolutely stunning album with no duds. Full of feel-good pop punk songs that you just don't hear anymore. The songwriting and performances on this album are top notch

Drawing on the classic amped-up sound of '90s acts like Sum 41 and New Found Glory, Neck Deep are at the vanguard of the pop-punk revival.
  2. So really what Neck Deep have here is something that is both faithful to its influences, and striving to be free of them. What that creates is an album that, though narrowly defined, is still working through something of an identity crisis.

Neck Deep are the most fully formed British rock band to rise to prominence in ages. And in Life's Not Out To Get You they haven't as much made a record as created a world. [15 Aug 2015, p.50]
