Really flat album. Instrumentals don’t play well with Roddy’s flows and lyric quality is questionable. Unfortunately a step down from PEMBAS

Unfortunately, Roddy Ricch's second studio album "LIVE LIFE FAST" is a clear step down compared to his debut and nowhere near as innovative, versatile and personal. Sonically, it is characterized by obtuse, same old 808 beats that hardly stand out from the mainstream.

Lyrically, the album is not as different and strong as "Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial", what even the feature guests, which by the way also have room for improvement, do not change. Overall, "LIVE LIFE FAST" is a pretty average rap album on which Roddy Ricch has definitely not exhausted his potential.

    My favorites:
    "moved to miami"
    "don't i"
    "25 million"

Live Life Fast is a strong sophomore effort, one that finds Ricch taking a few moderate risks alongside his attempts to repeat the approach that worked so well on his debut.

Most of LIVE LIFE FAST plays out with this kind of energy: forced, obvious, its best ideas obscured in a haze of self-satisfaction.

From “hibachi” with Kodak Black and 21 Savage to “no way” featuring a few motivational words from actor Jamie Foxx, the album rides a sonic wave of high-octane bangers and more subdued, reflective respites that provide fleeting glimpses into who Roddy Ricch is.
