The Field knows how to tease until it's practically torturous, while somehow never qualifying for off-putting tags like "difficult" or "experimental."

Given the complex menagerie of moods and movements interpolated amongst the din of this septet of songs, it seems like the man has indeed accomplished his mission.

Boundless and ecstatic, this is house music at its very best. [Dec. 2001 p. 126]

The warm glow that they engender is palpable, but you do wonder what may happen if The Field broke free from the constraints of the loop. [Jan 2012, p.99]

  1. You can always count on The Field to make a great album. But this even surpasses their previous albums. They have matured and the album appears more confident and assured. Track Arpeggiated Love is a masterpiece. In my Top 5 so far for 2011. Collapse
  2. It has the sound you'd expect from The Field, only fuller. It's a deeper, more sensational electronic universe that I can't help but be drifted away to, even more so than the other two albums. It definitely won't leave you with a feeling of disappointment if you enjoyed the past two albums. I'd definitely say it's the best of the three. Listen to it! Expand
  3. Addictive, mesmerising bliss. As good as his first and better than the second. The layers on the title track are pure euphoria. I can get lost in this for hours. Expand
  4. Didn't know what to expect as I listened to it as a new release on Spotify. Never heard the earlier albums. Love it. So many levels. Waves of sound layered on hypnotic beats. What a foot-tapper. Expand
