    Nelly Furtado goes a lot more mainstream pop here and the result is amazing, I love her voice as well

    Nelly Furtados most successful album and a transformation in style. Before her style was folk and pop. Now it is more like R&B and hip hop or like she named it punk hop. As always when there are changes in style then there will always be the sell-out / appeal to mainstream critic. For myself I don't view this as sell-out. There is no weak title on the album while I will admit that I skip some songs. My favourites are All Good Things (An emotional beautiful sad song), Say it Right (Her most successful song), In Gods Hand (The other beautiful sad song) and Maneater (A more powerful song). Overall the singles convinced me to buy the album and I don't regret owning it. I play it once in a while even now.… Expand

    "Loose" is one of the best albums of the decade 2000. The production of the album has allowed other artists to be inspired as with "Blackout" by Britney Spears or "Hard Candy" by Madonna. The album shows a sexier image of Nelly Furtado that is in the lyrics of the songs or then in the videos of this era. Moreover, this album differs from its first two in style because we find pop with"Loose" is one of the best albums of the decade 2000. The production of the album has allowed other artists to be inspired as with "Blackout" by Britney Spears or "Hard Candy" by Madonna. The album shows a sexier image of Nelly Furtado that is in the lyrics of the songs or then in the videos of this era. Moreover, this album differs from its first two in style because we find pop with touches of electro, R'n'B, hip-hop and Latin pop when we used to to pop-folk sounds from him.
    The choice of singles is very good because it represents the different sides of the album and have all been commercial success. The collaboration with Timbaland and Danja was beneficial for Nelly because "Loose" was one of the biggest hits of the years 2006 and 2007, the reviews were very positive, the album marked the pop music as well as the industry musical because the album is ahead of its time. The songs to remember for me are "Afraid", "Maneater", "Promiscuous", "Say It Right", "Do It", "In God's Hands", and "All Good Things (Come To An End)".    … Expand

    Truly a pop masterpiece, from start to finish. If you wanted to nitpick there is probably two or three songs that aren't 10/10, but in my opinion there is not a bad song on this album. So many hits and Timbaland is at his very best here! A must listen for any pop fan, or music fan in general! Go on Nelly!

    Just an epic album. "Maneater", "Promiscuous", "Say It Right" & "All Good Things", these four songs are crazy, you don't have to listen other songs. 2000s banger.

    With club-ready songs like "Maneater" and "Promiscuous", quiet soothing songs like "In God's Hands", "Showtime" and "Alll Good Things (Come to An End)", and all the rest, "Loose" is the perfect mix. I admit that "Whoa, Nelly!" and "Folklore" have more quiet and less "poppy" songs, but "Loose" is perfect for anyone, anywhere.

    Nelly Furtado has re-invent herself with this album, and i think it shows how she's still like a bird but a bird's gotta have a little fun once in a while. This album has produced many of the best recent singles like Say it Right ,All goo Things, and In god's hand .     this album is really something special I admit it a long ways away from 'I'm Like A Bird'. But I enjoy how she is dipping into new genres. My personal favorites are 'In God's Hands','Afraid' and All Good Things (Come To An End). Check out the cd it is an explosion of artistic freedom.

    This album is awesome, the best of her three so far. It is a perfect mix of the new reinvented Nelly (evident on tracks such as Maneater and No Hay Igual) and the old folkier songs of her past two releases (of special note, Te Busque, and In God's hands). It also includes one of the greatest singles of recent history, Say it right.

    one of the best albums of 2006. Yeah, people said she's not true to her roots and sexed up to sell more. I say, whatever. Those people obviously didn't listen to the whole album. I think it's really creative of Nelly Furtado to have changed the direction of of her music. It's fresh, and smart. Possibly, grammy worthy.

    Im so happy to know i didnt missed this album, ive purcased it and im glad i did so.. songs like "promiscuous", "maneater", "say it right" and check this one "ALL GOOD THINGS" are very gooood.. all of those songs are so addictive.. nelly furtado always releases a really good album.. i like it so much!!

    How in the flippin' hell did this get above 70? Are all people crazy, or just tone-deaf? Her voice is nasally and annoying. Along with Timbalands random "HEy.. ooooh hey" this is just sad. Her older music used to actually be listenable to a certain extant, but going hip-hop while sounding like she's sick doesn't work for her.     Definitely one of best 2006 albums. Almost all songs are good, but style of them changes so they don't apply to single minded listeners. It's an achievement to produce three so different albums and all high quality. It comes to my mind Coldplay also made three and they match in quality.

    I don't buy it. A severe lack of melody marks yet another disappointing offering from someone that had shown such astronomical promise. It's a shame -- the piecemeal cacophony masquerading as music sounds fused and patched together like a factory-made product. Some may appreciate this robotic sound, but I prefer the organic, multi-national, free-form emotion she exuded before I don't buy it.     i LOVE her new album!! it rox my sox.. i never really used to listen to her and after promiscuous, i loved to listen to her songs!! they're all unique and awsome!! i love nelly furtado.. she is now my favorite artist!!

    This album reflected her new style, her collabo with Juanes was unexpected. I loved it. I could really relate to the lyrics to her songs. With Mr.Tim Mosley producing the beats and Nelly's emotional lyrics, the songs made hits! Who knew the girl next door could rap? This was one of the best comebacks of 2006! Go Nelly!, You're hot and beautiful!

    It probably won't appeal to all, and some of Furtado's fans may be hugely turned off by the more danceable tracks. Yet Timbaland has revitalized Furtado - this is the sound of an artist having the time of her life.
